Made some progress on this little project tonight. Cells have been top balanced and the box is mostly built, just need to add some feet to the bottom and a cover on top. The base panel has a pass through for the wires coming off the cells that’ll run down to the BMS mounted on the underside.
I’ll just add, depending on your use case, you can find LiFePO4 batteries for the same cost, if not cheaper, than AGM batteries. Dakota is pretty overpriced IMO.

F- it, bringing this project back from the dead. Found a good price on cells and a BMS, totaling just $184. Can’t pass up the opportunity for a 104Ah battery for that price. Finished with my trailer’s lithium upgrade so it’s time for something new.
