Really sorry to hear this. Ford cant seem to get anything right with this launch.
Do you happen to know how your dealer finally found out what had happened? I am in a similar situation as my Bronco has been in production since 9/4. As of last week, it has also dropped off the Palsapp.
Damn, that sucks! At least they are working to make it right.
My problem is I can't get any answers from anyone. I've tweeted Ford, Levine, & Farley numerous times. I've called the Bronco Reservation Team repeatedly. I bug my dealer constantly. Still no answers.
Yes it's possible but not likely. I talk to my salesman regularly and he forwards me emails he is sending to Ford trying to figure out where my Bronco is. I've also opened at least 5 cases with the Bronco reservation team (which they close within 24hrs with no info - don't waste your time) and...
The sad thing is many of them will get their Broncos before you or I (9/3 blend here). I think you're right though, you have to have the oldest non-delivered Bronco on Bronco6G.
It's a shame what Ford is putting their customer through. Especially since it could be fixed with just a tiny bit of...
Not following FIFO is also not a COVID related problem. My Bronco has been on QC hold since 9/4, yet identical builds to mine have been rolling off the line for months. I know they would never stop production to rework these units, but they can reduce production volume and use the extra parts to...
It has definitely been challenging. I've considering buying something else many times but the situation with all vehicles right now is the same. Long waits and uncertainty.
My modules populated 9/4. I’m quickly approaching 6 months and won’t be surprised if it gets to 7.
Pro tip: For those considering giving up, attend a Bronco Off-Roadeo. It’s freaking awesome and will reassure you that waiting is the right decision.
Most of the time you only sequence large parts that you don’t have enough floor space to store several types lineside. Things like headliners, seats, wheels, etc. are common. I’m not sure they would sequence the lights though as it would just increase cost. Even if they are sequenced, it is...
I don't think it's costing them anything because they aren't reworking them. My modules populated 153 days ago and the car hasn't left MAP. I work at an OEM and we had our entire yard damaged by hail (2000+ vehicles). All cars were reworked and shipped in less than a month.
I think they are...
I would much rather still be waiting on a VIN than to wait just as long only to get a Bronco that has had 100lbs of snow stretching the soft top and whatever other issues sitting for 6+ months will cause. Mine has been there since 9/3. I don’t anticipate Ford pulling their heads out anytime...
@Ford really needs to be more involved in the cases such as this as well as the undelivered '21s. This picture is of my local dealer last Friday. There is no reason that they should have 5 Broncos for sale yet there are 1,000s of reservation holders waiting on orders.
Finally! A list I can join. As a 9/3 blend, I was outside the Dirt Mountain tracking list, I believe the cutoff was around August. Yet my blend date was too old for the other missing Broncos tracker.
My biggest frustration with this is that Ford seems to be completely ignoring FIFO. The first...
It is also common with Ford to be a MY behind as there are 1,000s of people still waiting on their '21 Broncos.
Maybe this year they will switch over to MY '23 earlier than December like every other OEM has always done.
@daddycreswell thanks, I went ahead and emailed him. Do you know if your Bronco came by convoy or rail? On my sticker it is listed as convoy but my salesman told me it was coming via CSX which was a big surprise to me.
