No the PnP harness is pulling the signal from the front channel. You don't need to change anything. Just hook it up and secure the amp. No need for Forscan but you will need to properly adjust your gain. Adjusting gain only changes the signal coming into the amp. You turn it up until you hear...
You input the signal to the Kicker KEY from the front channel, which is full range. This signal is amplified and sent to all 4 channels. Now if you tap into the rear speakers that is a different story. In this case you would need to unlock the full range via Forscan.
I'm pretty sure he's completely swamped with all the orders from Bronco6G.
I don't have mine set up yet but that is what I will do. I'm still waiting on parts.
You could use the harness you ordered and just modify it if you are comfortable doing that sort of thing. It would be a very easy change.
Yes. Bi-amp mode is specifically for powering a front stage, such as a component set. You do need to run a wire directly from the Kicker KEY to the tweeter or kickpanel 6.5"s in this case though.

The Kicker Key200.4 can also be used to set up and...
I do think it has enough power for all 6 speakers. I'm just saying I don't believe the DSP works correctly if you are powering 6 speakers through 4 channels. If you are wanting to increase volume in the rear speakers, this is the way to go but with DSP off as you did. (y)
In my opinion this is preferred. Sound should come from the front when listening to music. Surround sound is for movies ;) Again this is just my opinion. It depends on each individuals preference. Neither is correct. Different strokes for different folks.
Are you powering all 6 speakers with the Kicker KEY? If so I don't think the DSP will work correctly. In order for the DSP to work correctly, you would need to bi-amp the fronts. If you are running all 6 speakers with 4 channels, there will be a compromise. The DSP works by automatically...
How does it sounds with only tweeters in the dash? I'm considering this option as well but was wondering if it would be too bright. I'm just concerned the full range from the 6.5s in the kick panel won't make it up to your ears as they are firing into your shins, if that makes any sense.
Well, my Bronco was finally delivered! After 172 days on Dirt/Ice Mountain, it finally made it. I'll be picking it up tomorrow morning. Hang in there everyone!
Welcome to Apple CarPlay. I’ve had lots of issues with it on Fords, VWs, and Jeeps. Have you checked to see if there’s an update available for Sync?
Not sure what your relationship with your dealer has to do with anything being discussed in this thread but congratulations.
I'm kind of thinking you don't know what empathy means. Because the only one lacking it in this thread is the individual who called the OP entitled. Practice what you preach.
Hilarious comment coming from someone who had to wait a whole 3 weeks for their Bronco to be delivered. Must have really been stressed, which is why you feel the need to be so rude to others who you cannot relate to.
