  1. Word of Warning to See Broncos on Display!

Yes, I get it, but I don’t spend all my time keeping up in everything in the forum. I’d missed the reservation part of the prior post, so just wanted to make sure no one drove a long distance to be turned away. On a positive note, the Cactus Grey really does look great in person!
  2. Word of Warning to See Broncos on Display!

Yeah, I’m an idiot. I just skipped to the dates and ignored the part in that thread about the reservation. However, I made another reservation at a separate dealer, persisted with a different rep, and got in. Just wanted to make sure everyone noted the pre-registration requirement.
  3. Word of Warning to See Broncos on Display!

I went to see the Broncos today at the local dealer, but due to COVID, you have to make a reservation. They were full up, so I couldn’t get close to them. I’d originally ordered from the local dealer, but moved my order to Granger. Apparently that took me off the reservation invite list...
  4. Granger Ford - Bronco Timeline

I’m not worried about that. Just don’t want to inconvenience them if it takes a while to get there. It’s Iowa, so maybe storing a couple dozen Broncos isn’t a big deal.
  5. Granger Ford - Bronco Timeline

Thanks, Albert. I’m likely a M22, so also interested how that will play out. How long will Granger be able to keep the Bronco before we pick it up? Since you suggested we not make travel plans until everything is sorted, there could be some delay to organize flights, etc. Sounds like you...
  6. Bronco GOAT Modes Guide by Trim - Compiled and Confirmed Info 🐐

Thanks. I’m deciding on my Black Diamond with or without Advanced 4x4. It might have value if I ever drive in snow or ice (not my current SoCal situation), but after watching the KOH videos, I really want Baja. I don’t want to spend the upgrade cost to Badlands, but I’m thinking 4A could...
  7. Gun / Firearm Racks & Storage [*** Storage Talk Only *** No Glorification, States, Laws, Permits, Politics or Usage Discussions]

That would be perfect. Hope they do something to fit the 2dr, and at the height of the seats when folded.
  8. California Check In

LA Just ordered from Granger 2 dr Black Diamond, 2.3, MT
  9. šŸ“Š Submitted Bronco Orders Tracking List & Stats

Order in to Granger! Black Diamond 2 dr, A51, 2.3L, MT. I optimistically selected ā€œ2021ā€ as the model year! 😁
  10. Bronco Order Update with Conversion Information

Any time between 9-2 Pacific! Now I just have to figure out what to order...I wonder if there are any opinions on this forum? šŸ™„
  11. My KOH Ride & Impressions - from a Jeep, Ranger Rover and Bronco owner

Yep. It seems odd that Land Rover and others don’t get the formula. But I’ve been searching for a D90 replacement that doesn’t cost $200K and isn’t a Wrangler (I’ve owned two). Ford wins the contest. Now if they can only deliver the goods...
  12. Northeast Bronco Buyers - Would you consider a reservation switch to Grangers with a couple of Granger arranged group deliveries

Wow, my eyes glazed over reading that booklet. I had no idea this was so complicated. $47k civil penalty for a dealer getting it wrong. This puts Granger and others at risk it would seem, as a CA or NY buyer backing out would leave them with a vehicle they can’t sell locally - at least how I...
  13. If Ford offers the fastback soft top in place of the 2DR MIC, will you take it or wait?

While not scientific, this poll suggests roughly 40% of 2dr orders might opt for a soft top. The option might give Ford some breathing room to get more Broncs out the door this year. That might help everyone out. Seems like a worthwhile thing to pursue.
  14. Vehicle Security/Anti-theft system

Old thread, but I have a lot of questions about theft and security. Not wanting to start squabbles about location, but I’m worried about everything that’s been discussed already. I’ll likely leave the top off or have a soft top on. But I’ve had doors stolen off a Jeep parked in my driveway...
  15. If Ford offers the fastback soft top in place of the 2DR MIC, will you take it or wait?

I live in SoCal and my Bronco is a beach and off-road toy. I’d prefer the soft top - I really don’t want a hard top. My garage is already full, so storing it was going to be a headache. The soft top would be ideal for me. Even better if it improves my odds of a MY21! (With an appropriate...
  16. Ordering Update - Granger Ford 1-25

Just moved my July reservation to Granger. I’m a MY22 at my current dealer anyway, so I might as well save some money with the Granger deal. Who knows, maybe Ford will move a lot of reservations to them if they convert a lot of orders. Wishful thinking, I know.
  17. Allocation vs reservation

I’ve read all the posts. I can’t imagine having a full time job and keeping up with all this S@$t. But the dealer allocation model throws a spin on the reservation scheme. Ford isn’t allocating Bronco’s just by reservation time stamp. Dealer allocation now figures into that. I’m trying to...
  18. Allocation vs reservation

So I’m starting this thread to consolidate information on the impact of dealer allocation to reservation dates. I’ve talked to some dealers (mine included) that have many more reservations than allocations. I’ve heard of dealers that have more allocations than reservations (perhaps an urban...
  19. Response from Ford about dealers converting Bronco reservations unexpectedly

If this pans out as authentic, the B6G community ought to send a collective ā€œthank youā€ to Levine and copy the CEO. This was fast in corporate time and could easily have been ignored. A lot of this launch hasn’t gone well, but it’s nice to see Ford folks lean in when we need them. As a former...
