Source? What you've written in regards to the 2-door U725 flies in the face of most of the current speculation. Is your data simply more speculation, even though outside of the currently accepted envelope? I'm trying to envision a 190" 2-door, and my imagination fails me.
I probably won't have a new Bronco by summer of '21, but I'd still go to an event. We go to Moab a couple times a year, that would be convenient... but I would also enjoy going someplace I've never been and see a different kind of terrain than I'm used to. As long as I can have some level of...
Does Dearborn also stamp steel, thus making speculation possibly ambiguous? Or do they only form aluminum there, making it a strong likelihood that Bronco will be aluminum?
I don't know enough about aluminum in motor vehicle bodies to know what to think about this. Will replacement panels...
Yes, but in the case of backseat roasting babies, it isn't the parent that pays the price. It's a defenseless infant. Should a warning system fail and a child die despite the system, sure - I fully expect the carmaker will face liability. But that parent won't be any less guilty of forgetting...
Agree. The FSB-style gate, but hinged on the driver's side, seems to be the most clean/versatile. I'm fine with a traditional drop-down gate, I actually like them - but the trend toward no liftover and easier loadingwill probably rule that out.
I guess I failed to illustrate that an FSB-style gate attached at the driver's side as a swing-gate would be possible absent a window frame. I'll try to include pictures next time.
Nowhere in the Constitution or Bill of Rights does it say that you have the right to be exempt from paying for non-optional equipment on a car. There are TONS of options you pay for on a car that you may not like or use. Vanity mirror, glovebox light, child restraint anchors, rain-sensing...
A few thoughts on this:
If a parent makes a mistake once in their lives, it can be lethal to a completely innocent baby.
There is technology that can go a little ways toward preventing a deadly lapse in attention.
A helpless child should not boil to death in their car seat for any reason...
Hmmm. Not loving the frame around the window on the EcoSport. The design for the BroncoBronco could be different, hopefully like the old FSB, but if it's like the EcoSport the idea of a frame means it has to mate up against something. Which would mean a non-removable portion of the roof back...
In today's news, we learned that we're not learning anything for about another half a year:
"We'll tell you something next Spring."
Disappointing, but it effectively ends the daily suspense.
I've been intermittently examining the HTML encoding for various Ford webpages that include Bronco, and the other day I noted a change in one that indicated "click for more info". Sometimes developers will put "silent" strings in before making parts of a page live... sure enough, today has some...
Some states tax on the basis of vehicle weight (not sure which measurement of weight). In terms of "fairness", I guess a combination of weight and miles driven would be the best calculation for a user fee. Governments anticipated the avoidance of fuel taxes by EVs long ago, and there has been...
This.
An insert - not necessarily a "flare" that adds width for a wider tire, but one that makes the stock tires appear to be a comfortable size within a wheel well designed to accept a tire a few sizes larger. Removing or replacing it with another size insert will allow for a larger...
