I think Bronco is at Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, very close to Canton, so could be location of the storage lot, or just an accuracy issue. I think Flat Rock currently produced Mustangs.
@Epiphany That hail/weather protection is interesting. In Minneapolis area, I see many dealerships have invested in large parking garage structures, which must be a huge investment. I had assumed that was to carry higher amount of inventory and reduce labor to clear snow and keep the cars...
I would have been better off not having the initial update. My dealer says my Bronco is built, and off-site, waiting for a train car. My pizza tracker is stuck on In Production 5/6, and my modules still haven't populated on that tracker. Oh well ... it will arrive when it arrives... (and I...
Appreciate your response! i hadn’t heard of any examples of vehicles delivered with modules not populated or incomplete On the web site. I knew the tracker had a lot of inconsistency.
I thought you needed the as built config as a backup for making changes with Forscan.
Are your electronics modules populated? I’ve had no update since in production 5/6, and no modules yet.
Dealer said was built and in checks prior to shipping, but I don’t know why the modules haven’t populated yet.
You're not alone. My last update was Production status 5/6. Modules have not populated yet. Emotional roller coaster to see it scheduled sooner than expected, but then go radio silent since then. No idea what is going on, but have concluded it will be built and delivered someday....
Just to clarify: When you say you double nutted them -- the purpose of that is just to install and tighten the studs vs. using the hanger bolt socket?
Also another question on the torque spec for the diff cover -- do you use an angle gauge for the second stage or just approximate it?
Really...
@Nc211 -- My order is HPR Wildtrak, dual tops, tow. Blend 5/2, production 5/6. No additional updates other than an email that production is taking longer than expected. Modules have not yet populated. Ford Chat did not have any detail, other than expected delivery 5/27 - 6/2 ...
Has anyone experienced this? My blend date was 5/2, Pizza tracker said production started 5/6, then got an email that production is taking longer than expected. No modules have populated yet. but Ford Chat gave this response: "I'm showing your vehicle is in production with a secondary status...
Same email, production date populated of 5/6, no “built” date, no modules showing but has a tear tag ID, sticker shows rail transport.
Just got the same email … Wildtrak MIC Lux Tow. Anyone know of production constraints ?
Blend 5/2, 689/995. No date in Production yet, and no modules populated as of now....
Mine should be after BroncoDave24. Should be pretty soon based on others here.
Nice! My HPR is in production this week. Curious what you do for rainy days with top off so much. Do you have a quick cover, drive an alternate on rainy days, or just let it get wet (washout floors and MGV seats?)?
The FP cover is in my upgrade list also. Couple of questions:
1) Did you notice if your factory fill was low? Curious if this is still happening.
2) Did you use the fiber gasket and fasteners that came with the FP cover, or did you use the setup CarbonSteel outlined to re-use the original...
I placed a $1000 deposit when I ordered mine. But there seem to be a lot more Broncos on the dealer lots these days, and probably a lower risk of selling yours to someone else vs previous years (depending on your area and model ordered).
In Production! Joining the club!
(by the way -- I was looking for the Hot Pepper Red Bronco Club in "clubs" to join, and couldn't find it. Is this a thread or club?
Saw this post and was interested to do this when my Bronco arrives: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/anyone-powdercoated-the-bead-lock-rings-on-their-sas-wheels.51606/post-1575150
Many people are reporting local powder coaters that are doing this for $25-$35 per ring, but my local quote...
@irishkpo Thanks for the info. I'll look into the MN4WDA and REI stuff. Our patterns are quite opposite - I work in Minneapolis during the week and go to NE WI in summer weekends, but our wives share the same opinion on roughing it! :) I'm interested in off-roading and meet-ups, but if I'm...
