It looks like this has more coverage / panels on the top than the Ford enclosure that I currently have installed - is there a way or have you experimented with waterproofing the top of your enclosure?
Currently have the Ford cargo enclosure but water always gets into the cargo area when the top is down or windows off and I get a bit of rain - does anyone know of a solution or product to waterproof the rear cargo area?

The cool part about pedal commander and sprint booster devices is that it takes away the need to switch into sport mode (and then having to turn off 4wd for those of us with advanced 4x4) - that makes it one of the best mods in terms of added convenience.
100% - just another sneaky scapegoat reason to blame the customer for something that isn't even related to anything the customer did...they like to have as many outs as possible, and sometimes get away with it when the customer doesn't have the technical expertise to call them out on it. It is...
You are correct, Uncle Bob - it requires premium to run the performance map that is added to the engine's list of maps, which it selects depending on grade of fuel sensed. If it senses low grade fuel it will use the low grade map, higher grade, performance map.
Yes, same tune, yes premium fuel is required for the tune to operate. To clarify, the tune does not take away from the inherent features and functionality of the engine system, specifically the engine's computer is able to sense the octane / grade of fuel, and runs the program/ tune that is most...
The guy who had the dealership install his tune is calling someone else an idiot - totally fits. If you understood the workings of your vehicle's engine you would understand that what I said is quite true. Shame that you needed to call me an idiot to assert your point.
Doing the same surgery on my rock rails - what type of thin grinder blade did you use to trim them?
I have a brand new DEWALT DW8424 Thin Cutting Wheel, 4-1/2-Inch x .045-Inch x 7/8-Inch - will this work?
Part of the problem is that if you knowingly pay substantially less money for something than what it is worth and it turns out to be stolen, in most states you can be criminally charged with knowingly receiving stolen property. Ford has already likely received an insurance payout on the stolen...
Just curious, but if someone has the financial means to pay a markup in exchange for getting what they want when they want it - what about that makes them an idiot? Our time here is limited so why sit around and wait for something that you desire if you can afford to have and enjoy it right away...
There should be enough room - the question is whether it may be too close to the windshield in terms of the sound reflecting from the glass...let me know how it goes.
I have a 3 way setup with tweeters in the a-pillars, 4 inch in the dash and 6.5 in the kick panels. I turned down the gain on the dash speakers to allow for the tweeters to shine and the dash gives a nice fill along with the rear pods.
(And of course a JL 12 in the rear cargo area)
Ok - so, just got the driver side tweeter flush mounted. I did not remove the A-pillar trim because i already researched what was behind my surface mount - half of my flush mount cup/bracket would be in my defroster duct and the other half would be behind the duct. I used a hole saw BUT this is...
Thanks for the disassembly instructions - those my come in handy. Hopefully I can use the preexisting hole that I drilled for the surface mounts and just snake the speaker wire.
I didn't get around to it [yet] today but I will keep you posted. I did purchase a 1-5/8 hole saw today so that...
Did this unintentionally on a flooded road - resulted in losing my electrical and engine power right away. Engine wouldn't start again right away - waiting about 15 minutes and got it cranked up again but was sitting there dreading the tow to a dealership.
I have the 2.3.
