My understanding is the asterisks are the locations that need the revised codes. The Xs are the other values you don’t change and the - is a last couple of digits that the system rewrites as a confirmation as the system checks periodically to make sure there’s no data corruption. (Checksum)
Most of the time mines ok but for some reason driver window seems not to come down in time and hits frame when I close quickly. Or something. And it rattles like hell.
I need something easy to put on and off during a ride - don't want them on daily drives, don't want them at obstacles, but want a deep and wide one for gravel on trails.
This is fun - non-SAS BL with chief Bronco engineer -- I would have used more technique on that first obstacle, but he clearly wanted to show how robust it was...
Glad to hear that on your BL-nonsas - I haven't been to anything like MOAB but some decent obstacles at some training grounds and such and the only thing I've been limited by so far has been my rail-mounted bolt-on steps when off camber climbing an obstacle. I wish those were easier to remove -...
I guess I'll add one more thought - weather's been iffy but skies clear and beautiful. I just take the driver panel off, stick in the back in about 30 seconds and enjoy most of the benefit of open air and sky - easy and quick enough that I can put it back on in almost the time a typical...
Has anyone seen any decals or decorative items for the blank "mostly" circular camera post (where a bronco logo would be on the other tires) ? It looks a little conspicuously devoid of any styling.
I understand (or think I read this, anyway) that some AWDs don't really have a transfer case with mechanical gearing for engaging the second axle but instead use some form of viscosity locking in the transmission to drive power to the desired wheel (or something like that) while in "proper" 4L...
Why don't you guys come up with something inexpensive and simple to stow and deploy for doing sun blocking in parking lots just for front seats - like spandex or someting? Just to keep the sun from scorching the seats during the day out in the sun.
I think the biggest rain risk (if you have MGV) is electronics and dash. If they made a lightweight vertical Bimini to hang from front and hang down as a shield very little rain would go there even in a downpour.
Has anyone seen any hooks or hangers to attach things temporarily to the slots in the inside of the tailgate? I can make some with 3d Printer, but am curious what sort of designs work well.
Something like that for just the front seats with a thin, stretchy material that can be wadded up in the glove box and deployed quickly would be great just as a sun guard in the parking lot.
Apparently the Ford Performance Kit allows you to disable ASS, so it should be trivial to compare the module settings before and after doing so if someone is so inclined....
