congrats you lucky dog. sounds like a great ride.
  2. Uh-Oh. Sasquatch Package in Oklahoma is now in question.

If only the Sasquatch hadn't been reintroduced so close to urban centers. Shame.
  3. UPDATE: Bronco Ordering Starts January 19th According to Ford (Levine)

Thank you for putting this in perspective. Lot of things going on in the world. Us getting our Broncos is up on the list, but maybe not the top thing. BTW -- you've got good taste -- I've settled on the same build maybe minus the Squatch since it will be late delivery.
  4. Cactus Grey has evolved is my theory

Personally I really like the CG these days. The whole thing about “I see green, what’s wrong with you idiots...” — we all see colors differently, just like we taste food differently. If you like the look of CG (and you’ve seen it in person) then you know whether you should get it, it doesn’t...
  5. 2021MY - Safeguards

People who want to have their cake and eat it too can always lease. You get the thrill of being 1st-on-the-block and can return it in 2-3 years if you have catastrophic issues! Or you can buy the beast at lease end. I am seriously considering lease through my business.
  6. Vintage look - what colors compliment Cactus Gray?

My plan was to rhino coat (or something like that) the MIC top, if I were to paint it. There are plenty of shades of white to make it look cool. Painted white from the factory? I don't have that kind of patience.
  7. Vintage look - what colors compliment Cactus Gray?

but how would I find it when I park it near some trees?
  8. Vintage look - what colors compliment Cactus Gray?

Hmmm. some decent insight here. I think you raise a good point about it not being vintage, but I wish there's a way to make it have that vibe. Another thing I'm hoping to create is a unique creature among the sea of Broncos that we'll see out there.
  9. Vintage look - what colors compliment Cactus Gray?

I know there's much hate around the carbonized grey MIC top, so what do people think about a fat carbonized gray stripe down the center of a Canyon Grey Badlands to match the top?
  10. Vintage look - what colors compliment Cactus Gray?

"Strange color" -- that's what's making me ask this question out loud about complementary colors.
  11. Vintage look - what colors compliment Cactus Gray?

I like the second one down with the black accent
  12. Vintage look - what colors compliment Cactus Gray?

here’s the the thing with the white trim — some photos of Cactus Grey look white(ish) in bright sun. So what will the white two-tone look like in that case? if you weren’t going to do white as the secondary color, what would you think about doing?
  13. Vintage look - what colors compliment Cactus Gray?

I plan to give my 2-door a 2-tone look, so what colors might complement Cactus Grey? If I end up with Area 51, I could easily see doing white (and a white top). That feels natural. But what about CG?
  14. Auto Start/Stop

3-10% is not insignificant. Thanks for the link.
  15. "Secondary Color" ideas

Something I’d like to see is a Cactus Gray 2 door with a wide stripe down the middle in a complementary color or white for a retro look. Any ideas out there what colors accent would look good with CG?
  16. Area 51

It is lighter than what’s pictured above. Lighting makes a difference. Saw this guy on Wednesday. It was completely overcast.
  17. Base Model Rear Locking Differential

Same here. But have committed to BL-MT nonetheless. 7sp or nothing. If it helps your decision, committing to the BL has helped bring calm to my life. And I got to see both GC and A51 in person this week, so all's good in my universe.
  18. Ford colors currently offered...why not the Bronco

"fleer order 100+" Wait a second... I just need to find 99 other idiots who would pay extra to get a Boxwood green Bronco and I could have one? It might be the whiskey talking on a Friday night, but anyone with me?
  19. Base Model Rear Locking Differential

See, this is the thing. If it's available from the factory, it just makes sense to go that way from a cost and hassle perspective. I've done all my wrenching on cars by now. I just like to get in and drive. Yes, getting to be that old guy.
