I just lifter the rubber weather stripping and slipped my remote over the windshield trim and viola it's in basically the same place as the homelink visor, out of site, and free. I did stick a small piece of foam on the back of it to prevent any rattles.
The auto stop eliminator goes into a plug on the back of the control panel where the button to disable the auto start/stop is located, not into the head unit.
Forgot about swarfworks. They have a triple light mount, but no reason you couldn't install just 2 lights.
