Refinancing a car is really only sensible if you really made a bad decision in the first place
A new car loan will have a better rate than a used car loan generally. Financing used cars is more expensive than financing a new one
Are you in a situation where you get a tax benefit from leasing?
Might be worth looking at a different car if so or just leasing it anyway
Some situations can allow you to write off your lease
On the demand bit I'm not sure that's true. There are very few electric options and very low sales numbers even with a $7500 tax credit
People don't want electric cars, and makers don't build interesting electric cars
Not that it really matters since the fusion is dead
That's the plug in hybrid, ford called that the energi
They also had a regular hybrid without a plug
There were 2 hybrids, one with plug one without and now they're all dead
Great job showing that the plug in version has a plug ?
The fusion hybrid can't be plugged in to charge. Many hybrids never plug in to anything.
The hybrid energi or whatever ford calls the plug in version does come with a cord
Accounting for a replacement battery on a hybrid is like accounting for a replacement transmission on an automatic...
You do know hybrids have been around more than 20 years, with many in service as taxis right?
Taxi services tend to use long lasting vehicles with a low cost of operation
This isn't some crazy new technology
For sure keeping an older car running is greener than buying any new type of vehicle. Maybe I oversimplified and compared new bronco vs hybrid bronco
Times have changed though, sometimes the hybrid is simply a better vehicle with lower operating costs
Some will just buy the better vehicle...
If an 8-10 mpg savings over the life of the vehicle doesn't make up for the battery production (and it can be recycled)
Over 100k miles
15 mpg 6666 gallons
25 mpg 4000 gallons
You don't think saving 2600 gallons of fuel could make a difference?
Plus the hybrid could be faster than the...
So you think a $2 plastic sticker will make a difference in the resale value? Of course the Sasquatch equipped vehicles will be more desirable in the second hand market but I think a badge is probably not going to be the most obvious sign that a bronco has Sasquatch.
If you really want one I'm...
If you're expecting anything about the bronco to be collectible you're going to be vastly disappointed unless it's a huge sales failure and dies immediately
Buy the truck to fit your needs.
I'm not spending more money now, then driving around in a noisy lower mpg getting truck for 5 years in hopes of getting more money for it when I decide I'm done with it
