I've driven cars with reverse high and left and it's not a problem
Typically the spring and pressure needed to get over to reverse is strong enough that it's very clear what you're doing
The pull up ring is annoying and unnecessary
One of us is not understanding,
I thought the OP was thinking about driving around with the tailgate swung open and unlatched, sticking straight back
If the tailgate is latched and closed. Yeah I would certainly hope it would be OK to drive around like that ☺️
There's a big difference between the forces when you are parked vs when you're rolling. I'm sure it's fine when stopped, it's when you hit a pothole or speed bump you didn't see that that big spare tire has a 2 foot lever to put force onto the hinge. No way it's designed for that
And then just repeat the process every time you start the motor, you just know they're going to default to ON and not remember how you set them
Frustrating, sometimes it's nice having an older car
Well you don't even have to pay a nickel for maintenance or repairs for 4 years 50k
I used to hit the racetrack quite a bit and I had brakes replaced at 17k miles for free, I've had batteries replaced for free
Of course I continue to refuse to authorize the oil leak repair on my current ride...
Calling them illiterate and claiming you have a superior grasp of how to properly use an SUV will probably get them to stop picking on you. Textbook job of shutting down h8trez! (y)
Great screen grab!
That hole is going to be a pain in the ass to open and close
4 thumb screws that you have to fully detach, hopefully you can reach them all from one spot and not have to move all over to reach them. Then you have to rescrew them into something else or you'll have those...
