“Carlo Rubbia, one of the world’s top nuclear experts, said that one of the main reasons why the United States cut research on thorium in the 1970s is part of what makes it so attractive today — thorium is difficult to turn into a bomb. It is also about three or four times more abundant than...
The difference is too many things (I.E. almost everything we use in modern life) stands to be immediately improved by magnitudes by getting better batteries and the “tech” world has a long track record of wanting to move to the next big thing.
The only thing keeping better batteries from...
I know, but those aren’t passenger amiable/controllable “normal” vents.
Those are just floor vents which would require A/C being moved to the floor vents to get any air to the rear row.?♂️
@BroAD
- Are the cabin drain plugs in all trims or just the “rubberized flooring/washout interior” and are the in both front/rear rows?
(Bonus) - Why no “normal” a/c vents for second row?

Electric is just better than ICE, overall in many/most scenarios.
The BIG BIG BIG problem Is how to store/create (onboard) the electricity to run the motors. Once that is fixed, ICE will be a relic relegated to only specific uses.

Antimatter Blue reminds me a LOT of Jay Leno’s Bronco 1968 resto-mod. On his YouTube Garage video on the truck he said he worked with Ford’s heritage division and the blue was a color Ford had used in the past ...
In the video that blues comes across as almost black, like that Antimatter Blue...
It would seem to add an unnecessary complication to have two (four between the 2/4door) body styles bolted to the frame. My guess is they will be there but maybe not accessible with the carpet floor? (Jeep just gives you carpet plugs you pull out).

Total reservations (including cancellations) vs active reservations, duplicates and - another point about being an enthusiast forum - remember these?
The Bronco sport reservations are surely included in that total as well.
Everyone needs to just chill out a bit. ?

Ford is making a relatively big deal about the rubberized flooring (anyone remember when ALL trucks had vinyl floors) ... the few clear pics available of it the flooring looks like it’s a molded/adhered flooring. BUT there are some aftermarket sources that sell a replacement (molded) rubber...
On the UConnect System FCA uses the navigation is a one time purchase. The subscription is the SiriusXM Guardian and Travel Link programs. Guardian is the “onstar” type services and travel link is weather alerts and gas prices and movie showings/times etc.
I’m going to bet that the Sync “NAV...
No one will know anything until at least December when orders start.
Ford has seen launches in the last few years (the Launch Edition Gladiator was a clown show) ... hopefully they learn from it.

On my Challenger and Gladiator and Pacifica the outlets are labeled key or hot and some you can actually configure to your liking. Granted this is all FCA but I wouldn’t be surprised if more modern cars are set up similarly. ?♂️

I have a reservation through Earnhardt Ford, I’ve bought two, new FCA vehicles with them (my Chally Scatpack Shaker and a Pacifica) and they were pretty straight forward. Got an automated email the night I reserved (7/13) saying they were closed for the night and to expect a follow up, and then...
Aircraft generally have this capability - INS (Inertial Navigavition System) uses (anymore) laser-ring gyros to create a reference point - usually in conjunction with GPS. Then using a bunch of math, and precise measurements of precession in the ring gyros, the system can self determine...
