Funny, the aftermarket snap on soft top that I have on my 87 4runner doesn't leak a drop of water or snow. The same one I had on my K5 didn't leak either. This from an OEM is beyond unacceptable.
If two people on the way to their 3rd, maybe thread title should be updated to include those.
And I know it's tounge in cheek, but the fact that it's being celebrated that it's been 10 days since one blew up is really sad.
Would not surprise me in the least if there are a number of mannequins that have blown up, that nobody would ever hear about.
For everyone trying to say that it's only 26 and it's a tiny number, the number of owners on this forum is very small. And in some cases, the forum may be giving people...
2 door VB Badlands, manual trans high package, nothing but crickets. Only advantage is that we are considering changing to an auto and possibly color, and still have that ability.
Never over promise and under deliver. Realize that the Bronco, for many people, is their first foray into the world of Ford. It has been hyped like crazy, and time after time Ford has had to backtrack what they already committed to, and fail to deliver on their own word.
It isn't a life and...
And my shit ass dealership still hasn't contacted me about re ordering my 22, and said they are still waiting for more info from Ford before placing orders. Come on Toyota, need a new 4runner announcement asap.
July 19th reservation, ordered as soon as banks were opened, modified order to drop modular top for MIC to try and get this year, pushed to 22 by Ford due to being 2 door and not yet scheduled. No hammock, and nothing showing in advanced tracking. There seems to be absolutely zero pattern to...
I don't think that matters anymore. If it's a total crap shoot if they are even getting any more, and the rest of their lot is empty, what do they have to lose?
You missed one. A whole bunch of people(myself included) switched from the modular to the MIC top early on to take delivery this year. We all know how that turned out.....
Done that exact thing, the GM sets the tone for the rest of the dealer, and so far I can see exactly where the rest of the order takers get it from. These dealerships are a joke.
Sounds identical to my dealer. Honestly, the dealer is making the experience worse than Ford. Most of them seem to be about as bad, but at least I seem to have found the best of the worst to switch my order to.
You sound more and more like a typical jeep owner.
I don't think anyone is saying that the 4runner is more capable. It's a very capable and competent vehicle, but a stock badlands and a stock Rubicon will crawl right past any level of 4runner when the rocks get big enough. Especially when you...
That wasn't the top of the line 4runner, and they didn't use all its tech. He specifically states that they didn't use atrac, only engaging the rear locker. Atrac is probably the best brake base traction control on the market today, and is damn near as good as a front locker when used in...
That's almost an identical story to how my dad ended up buying his first foreign car, a 93 Toyota tercel. Two Ford dealers wouldn't honor the nationally advertised price on an escort for his work car, the Toyota dealer down the street did. Two Tundras, every generation of 4runner, Land...
First experience buying a Ford. I'm a Toyota guy, been wheeling and building them for 20 years. Can't stand jeeps, was very excited to get a capable, reliable, removable roof vehicle. Everything seemed to be right when they announced it. It seemed like Ford learned from Toyota's FJ Cruiser, and...
