It
It would be nice to have during the winter where I am, but I decided against getting it and just sticking with the soft top. Maybe in a few years I’ll change my mind but who knows.
In case any one was thinking of getting the DV8 inner fenders they do work with the icon system with some small trimming of the fender liner. Also has the added benefit of adding a little protection to the resi.
After having the stage 8 kit for around 10k miles now I can say it’s worth every penny. The self adjusting stuff for cornering is so nice. The system makes me realize electronically controlled shocks is the future for off-road shocks. Also on a recent trail ride I decided to push it a bit hard...
Looking for some input on if there would be any benefit in adding a RockJock sway bar on the rear end? Would it hurt or benefit the bronco off-road with the factory disco?
Yeah they are. They seem great so far. My local place didn’t have 17” blades so I just went with 18” and I think the 18”s actually work and fit better.
Thought I’d post about a change I made to the washer sprayers to help with the air flow changes from the aeroskin 2. I ordered some Bosch sprayers off Amazon that attach to the wiper arm and some washer fluid hose and unplugged the sprayers in the cowl and plugged the new sprayers in. Seems to...
3/4” is about as tall as you can go with stock bolts. The front two barely thread with that size spacer and the other bolts it’s about perfect for the available thread.
Yeah my top does the same with the pro6 Lightbar. I have a Bimini top on also so I just lay a blanket in between them and it stops the flapping and adds a little heat barrier.
Yeah currently running 35s and I don’t believe so. The app is a little finicky. Like it doesn’t auto connect, you have to reset the app basically for it to connect when firing the car up.
I have around 4000 miles in my cdev setup. I feel like I kinda fiddle with the setting me a lot still but it is very nice to be able to go from soft to stiff just off your phone. I think the thing I like the most about the system is having it stiffen the outside shocks on curvy roads.
Toss some window screen behind the radiator shutters to help with bugs and seeds from around the farm getting into the radiator fins. Pretty simple mod.
While making some adjustments under the rear of my bronco I noticed that my brake lines are also maxed out before the tires even come off the ground. Definitely needs some longer brake lines or a new bracket.
Installed a midland mxt 575 radio and used up my last aux switch in the process. Realized I had the wrong antenna cord so just waiting on that to finish the install.
Finally got around to putting everything back onto my overland/camping trailer after getting it rhino lined and painted to match my Bronco. Feel like it turned out pretty nice.
