I had a 1997 Ford Mustang GT with a MT for 16 years and LOVED the manual. Driving it in the horrible traffic of Houston and Los Angeles never bothered me. I replaced it with at 2014 Escape, and it just isn't the same driving experience.
I'm not worried about the 2.3L 4-cyl vs the 2.7 v6. The...
Pretty sure if Ford wanted to satisfy everybody's perfect color choice, there would be ~190,000 color options available (one for each reservation holder).
2.3l MT non squatched badlands is all I want/need. Iād rather spend the engine upgrade dollars elsewhere, and you already get the āsquatch mechanicals on the BL. No interest in spending $2.5k for wheels and tires.
Well, its not just adaptive cruise control for $5K. You're going from the base package to the Lux, so you're getting everything in the Mid, high, and rest of the Lux features for that price. Adaptive CC is one of the reasons I'm springing for the Lux package.
2014 Ford Escape with 72k miles. It's been a solid car but definitely not "exciting" or "fun". I'm in the fortunate position of not having to differentiate dd vs weekend car since my commute (assuming I ever go back to the office) is 1.8 miles round trip. My commuter vehicle is a bicycle.
I doubt it they could or would limit the number of reservations a dealer can take.
HOWEVER, Ford does have a formula about how they will allocate Broncos in each production run to all of the dealerships around the country. We know generally what the metrics are (share of national sales...
This is kind of an  to me. Badlands/Wildtrack are the most capable offroaders of the 2021 Bronco model year. Is there a Warthog on the way...it seems like it since Ford showed the prototype, but its possible it will never come to market. If it does, will it be a 2022? 2023...
I LOVED my hunter green '97 Mustang GT. I know English racing green isn't really appropriate for American sports cars, but I thought it was amazing on the Mustang
You can rationalize this decision any which way from Sunday, and there will be no shortage of people that totally agree with your rationale. There will also be plenty of people that will pick your rationale apart and tell you its wrong.
If you enjoy driving a car with manual transmission, then...
@WCFord Thanks for becoming a part of the community. You are right down the road from my in-laws who are in Orinda. We live in Arizona now and are going through a local dealership here.
Frankly, I don't have a problem with a modest additional deposit (>$1000) to place an order because, as you...
I don't think it contradicts the information from last week at all. Each dealer is still going to get a certain allocation; that doesn't change. I think it just reassures people they don't have to line up outside the dealers door (80/90's concert ticket style) to be the first to put their...
Probably one of the few on here that would take the 2.3L+manual even if 2.7L+manual was available. I think itās got plenty of hp and torque for what Iāll be doing, and Iād just assume spend the savings of not getting the 2.7L other places in the build.
Will be interesting if we end up with sufficient information to decide who is right, but there is a great microdistillery in my neck of the woods here in Arizona that makes pretty darn good rye and bourbon whiskeys that I'd be willing to put up as stakes. Or once we take delivery of our new...
