  1. 7mt Transmission Fluid Service @ 1 year/7500mi -- fluid results

Yeah, I had watched one video where an engine rebuilder said that the taxis and police cars had pretty good engine internals despite the wear because they not only had very regular and tight intervals but also used the same oil brand and formula all the time. I guess that makes for less chance...
  2. TPMS sensor questions

So there was a guy that said you could get a full set of 5 from Ford for $50, that wasn't my experience, but maybe you can. I opted to swap mine out from my Badlands rims to the Sasq pull-offs I found because they didn't come with them. I thought it was around $200 and I'd still have to...
  3. Aftermarket frame mounted hitches?

I got a Curt aftermarket hitch, it suits me fine, I may occasionally tow a small trailer but mainly use it for bikes and very small stuff like that. I mean the tow capacity is small anyways. It's mounting position is pretty robust. I did use it for a recovery a couple times and it's not bent...
  4. 7mt Transmission Fluid Service @ 1 year/7500mi -- fluid results

These are laughable intervals. Yes new tech in oil and other fluids is great and they are way better than they used to be but come on, this stuff still gets dirty. These are nuts. I keep my vehicles a low time, so my maintenance schedule is a little more aggressive than these crazy time and...
  5. 2024 OBX SAS or Non-SAS vs Badlands Non-SAS

I guess you were right, I swear I saw this before, I think their wrong pic through me off, it's missing the "4A" spot. Also, it's weird because they have both selections available, part-time and full-time. I amend my earlier opinion, I would simply get the Badlands non-SAS, of course with a 7...
  6. 2024 OBX SAS or Non-SAS vs Badlands Non-SAS

Ford sort of ruined that question for 2024, I would have said Non-sas Badlands, but now, you can't get the 4A transfer case unless you order the SAS. Mine was a Non-sas Badlands, but it came with all the goodies, I did upgrade tires/wheels later, but already had the better transfer case, now...
  7. Ford Bronco Axles

I helped a friend order a OBX for herself, she said she'd never take it off road, most likely, but might tow with it. I said either way, get the better locking rear axle, not only better for off-road, if she ever goes, but better for towing as well. I also talked her into the aux switches, to...
  8. DIY How-To: Painting Beadlock Wheel Beauty Ring From Silver to Black (on Badlands Sasquatch)

Cool, I have been on the fence about this for some time, partly for the same reason. The black does look cool and everyone has the silver rims. I actually started with the Badlands rims, which I liked, but when I saw these pull-offs, I figured I'd keep the rims as they were a 1/2" larger I...
  9. Ford's Performance ProCal Tune for the 2.3L (Experience and thoughts??)

I have a Badlands and it does not have a Sport Mode.
  10. Ordered a Badlands

I'd go 2 door and skip floor liners and get WeatherTechs instead, eveything else looks awesome.
  11. 75w85 rear differential gear oil what are you using

I went with Redline 75W85 as well, I like Valvoline too, but I wasn't sure if I needed the Hypoid stuff. Not really sure if that's necessary, but that's the route I went.
  12. Worst Accessories so far?

    This is too funny...and I agree 100%
  13. Worst Accessories so far?

Yes, I was going to add the only thing I hate so far is the RC tailgate support, it sucks, wasn't curved correctly and I already knew better from all the other crap they built, typical Chinese quality. That was the first and last Chinese RC item I ever buy.
  14. OEM Rock Rails?

So far, I only have the stock ones and while not ideal, they have held up to the wheeling I have done, which I'd describe as more hard core than most, but not really hard core, I mean I live in Florida and there's very few real rock crawling places here. If I lived out West, I'd probably be...
  15. Manual Transmission Repair- Did I pick the wrong dealer?

Final update, I guess I should have kept my complaints to myself, all is good, got my baby back and she shifts well and makes no noise, even gave it a bath today and drove it to the football game and watched the home team smash the visitors.😁
  16. Manual Transmission Repair- Did I pick the wrong dealer?

Just a quick update on this thread, my dealer just called and he said it was ready for pick-up, which is awesome, I hate not having my Bronco. Now, I need to test drive it to make sure it's fixed correctly. Fingers crossed as I'm assuming it is, but I have tremedous bad luck sometimes, so...
  17. Refreshed 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon vs. Bronco First Edition -- Edmunds Comparison Review

Yes, it is my understanding that the First Edition was a maxed out fully loaded Badlands.
  18. ADM is alive and well

Yes, agreed, it's not like I stumbled into my Bronco without thinking and figuring through all the options and I certainly didn't want to get stuck with a Big Bend🤣, which I could have had for MSRP, but open axles, street tires, no skids, etc, etc, if I wanted a mall crawler, plenty were out...
  19. Manual Transmission Repair- Did I pick the wrong dealer?

Very true, I really can't take it to another dealer at this poitn, but could for future issues if need be, but it sounds like, as sad as it is, this maybe is the norm now, which to me seems crazy. And I agree, if they fix it right, all this will be a distant memory in a very short time.
  20. ADM is alive and well

Your anology doesn't really work man, I gotta tell you. As a realtor myself, we don't own the product, we are brokers. We work for the people that hire us the owners. Now if you'd like to use realtors that work for a builder, your anology holds up a little better, but still not good...
