So basically a neutered SAS package (no gearing, beefier front axle or lockers) in bronze. Yippee skippee.
Dodge started doing this shit towards the end with the Challenger.
Make it available for personalization but FFS donāt start calling them out as āspecial editionsā. We are plenty capable...
What youāre missing?
Cue up some clown music, have everything go to shit. Get pissed. Do it again. Have a shot of whiskey. Open web browser and live the good life.
PS - shot of whiskey is for optional, but highly recommended, even when using the web browser. š
Good guess @ 6000. Assume Blue Seas is more trustworthy but havenāt researched the independent testing you mentioned.

Absolutely feel your pain
The app is garbage. Hope the @Administrator sees this and takes note. I donāt bash for the sake of it but it seriously seems like itās getting worse and worse. My frustration started with images and inability to click and make larger. I used to bypass by zooming on my...
Am I missing something? The Stinger says it's good for 500 amp continuous with peaks up to 900 amps.
When I was winch shopping I pulled data on several winches and compiled into some charts. I'm seeing about 400 amps as the max the Evo 12s pulls. But maybe I've overlooked something.
I think work is going to slow down in the next week so I can finally focus on getting my BAMF bumper, frame horn reinforcements, winch, intercooler, etc all installed.
I opted for the BAMF solenoid relocation bracket and wiring kit when I got the bumper. Thinking I will add the Stinger solenoid...
Sounds like @akturbo made his choice already but for those still looking and referencing this thread, it may be worth comparing actual dimensions of the tires instead of whatās on the sidewall.
One that sticks out in my head is the Yoko Geolandar MT G003ās. Advertised as 35x12.5. Actual dims of...
I wanted to say thank you to everyone that has shared their feedback & experiences. Honestly, it sounds like both options are winners.
@Snacktime made some points about sidewalls, terrain type, winter conditions & compound type on the Coopers that I think will benefit me a hair better than the...
Despite their crafty name, the stock GY MTās are actually ATās.
Putting brands aside for a moment, true Mtās have wider spacing between the tread lugs and usually stone ejectors. ATās have smaller spacing. RTās or hybrids fall in between.
Sure, exact tread design make some better than others...
Ironically a good chunk of people b*tching about losing their open air freedom rarely take the top off or run shade tops so they donāt get cooked.
When I had my TJ I rarely had the doors or top on and not once did I feel trapped or hindered because of a cross bar. Of course most the crew I ran...
The right answer hinges on what you want to accomplish with the rig. Itās easy to go down the rabbit hole but you will be money, time and frustration ahead if you can try to define those goals upfront.
Thatās what she said. š
I like @Discount Tire but would double check the size prior to ordering.
Iāve been eyeing the Rebound Pros for awhile. Nearly wet my pants several weeks back when I saw DT had a version that was hubcentric (93.1) vs their near miss (95.1).
Jumped on the Icon site to...
Another thing I was thinking my about is the top lip of the rash rings. There isnāt a good angle in the pic you shared but is the top profile squared or radiused? The latter may provide more of a slip plane instead of a snag point.
This is a crude sketch of what I mean where the green...
I saw your other post *after* I had made my response. I agree with you that Ford has a better mouse trap with the beauty rings. Youāre getting more clamping force on that vertical face.
The Recons are using that L shape design with the clamping force in the horizontal plane. Thereās nothing to...
Appreciate the picture share and feedback @Oldhippie.
Two things stuck out to me.
1. The innerlock pins are separate so even if you rip the rash rings off you shouldnāt lose the bead right?
2. Quinky dink yours all sheared at the 90 degree bend before they attach to the wheel? Or a designed...
Youāre about 8 hours from me. We have been considering a trip to KY to see some family. That would get us closer if you donāt mind driving some to meet.
Mine is 2023 Badlands, non-SAS, and has sensors.
FYI, for those swapping from plastic or capable bumper with the factory fogs you will likely want some pigtails to go directly from the new lights to the Ford harness that allows you to continue using the factory fog light switch. They arenāt *required* but without them you have to splice in...
