Saw a 24 Braptor on my FB feed listed at $79,500. It was about $20k off MSRP. I was thinking you could probably negotiate a $72-75k buy price. I would do that before dumping $70k+ on a Badlands.
Agree with @mpeugeot that Sasquatch on Badlands is a poor bang for the buck. Badlands is the only...
All your crazy talk about shipping boxes and crates. If a neighbor saw you throw this in your trunk, 911 would be called and SWAT would be kicking in your door.
Love the bumper though. And pretty sure it gets bonus points for Chris Farley approved styling. 😂😜
Might have to start calling you wingnut. 😜
That is around the era I had my last good experience there. Our family celebrated my great grandmothers 100th birthday there. The place was a zoo. We had a pretty good sized family but it was hopping back in those days. At the time I wasn’t quite...
Thank you, much appreciated. The Hyundai mirror is still reasonably priced at $25.
Have you installed this specific mirror? Had a few questions:
1. Is the compass the blue-green color that matches the rest of the interior? I’ve seen some that are an amber color on various vehicles.
2. Do...
Agree TREAD width stays relatively the same regardless of rim width. However, the SECTION width (what we typically refer to as tire width) will fluctuate a little.
Roughly 0.20” for every 0.50” variance between measured rim width and actual rim width.
A few examples:
> 12.61” wide on 9.5”...
Disclaimer before the rest of my post — I’m not picking on or combating @GoodThunder. His post just happened to reference some examples I think we need to consider when evaluating fitment.
When talking wheel offset we also have to consider wheel width. Width matters as it changes the...
My guess is just the opposite. Only the mall crawlers are pushing 20’s on an off-road rig. They probably give 0 craps about wheel weight as long as it’s blingy and has some fake locks for tough street credit.
Sarcasm aside, I bet the 20’s move slower so they cut the price to clear inventory...
All the 35” guys.
Don’t forget to scratch through Jeep and write Bronco.
Why do the 40” guys look like Ric Flair, lol. @BigMeatsBronco and @SierraBronco
😜😂🤣😂🤣

Wheels look good. Very similar to Method 703’s….but lighter & less expensive. Curious to hear your feedback after install.
My Yokos gets installed in 9 days, not that I’m counting down or anything. 😜
To my knowledge that option just doesn’t exist. Closest thing will be the Nitto Recon Grapplers I mentioned back in post #28.
They are D rated. And they measure 11.42” wide on a 9” rim with approved rim width range 7.5-10”.
You lose/gain about 0.20” width for every 0.5” from the measured rim...
When you talk offset, don’t forget that wheel width comes into play.
This is easiest to visualize on a 0 offset wheel as this means the mounting hub is centered on the wheel width.
In other words, an 8.5” wheel with 0 offset will be 4.25” (107.95mm, or 108mm rounded) on both sides. And a 9”...
Guess I’m low tech. I optioned for a pocket remote and used a zip tie to secure it to the turn signal stalk.
Works great for me.

I’m not sure yet. Install is scheduled for 1/13 so I will be able to comment more after everything is done.
However, there is a Shocks Surplus review that heavy 37’s can be problematic. In their case, 35# over stock SAS setup so near 90# tires.
Not sure what you’re running but may be worth a...
Tire weight definitely matters but even if you take that out of the equation, there is still more of a strain. Easiest way to visualize is think of a 10-speed bike. You use different gears/size of sprockets to get to speed. When you change the tire size you are effectively changing things...
What rings did you find to work? I ordered some from Amazon and hacked one up to fit but will require some RV silicon to help secure in place and then I’d be concerned as the silicone would be the only thing really holding it.
Part of the issue I noticed is the “inside plate” the actual...
Alternative to replacing the winch. Haven’t used the remote option so yours is probably more convenient but this may work for some.

This video shows the install along with clicking the winch.
Sounds about right.
The video was in metric. Might be helpful to know to convert to imperial units.
1 inch =25.4mm (millimeter)
3.28 feet = 1m (meter)
I’m out of state right now and took the wife’s Explorer ST so I can’t go measure the distance between the frame rails, but we can call it D...
