With all you technical heavyweights, I just contribute where I can. 😜
Finally joined the 37’s club today. Nothing super cool like here but I still beat @Bikeric and his non existent progress to install his 6100’s. Speaking of which I need to go bomb his build thread too. 😂
Ford needs to take some lessons from Dodge if they want to build a culture like that. I was already scheming but the 2010 commercial inspired my first Challenger purchase.
Bet we would see a turbo charged 302 in the Bronco if Ralph Gilles was leading the Bronco division.
I’ve beem keeping my eyes peeled for an asshole driver with a WT. When he goes in to the gas station to get his slurpee I am going to jot down his VIN to use for my swap.
Went back through my history and found that post that discussed the variances. These diagrams supposedly came from the owners manual. I have not verified but it shows the variances I noted.

Don’t have the answer but ultimately power comes from the blue/white wire on the drivers side. Seems like it should be traceable. Can’t recall if one of those free FSM’s here had the wiring diagrams but they may be a start point.
Also the other day I learned the amp rating for AUX switches...
Now is the time when the @Ford bot could cleverly post a GIF.
But it’s cyber wife probably isn’t A Few Good Men junkie and hasn’t seen the movie so many times it can almost quote from memory.
Yeah the 3.73’s and 7MT are both welded and require replacement.
I’m guessing you are looking at 4.88’s primarily so you don’t have to run the upgrade kit on the 5.13 or 5.38? Or you just like the RPM range better?
Thanks for the info on the 4.46’s. Sounds like a slim market. But I normally...
Timely post. Will be on 37’s soon and thinking about the HD rack & rods and a 5.38 regear.
Does someone have the book time on the steering rack? That will be priority 1.
Will see how much I hate the 4.46’s with 37’s. Anyone have a good idea on market price for the used 4.46’s?
Yes, they are the Protruck 2.0’s. However, I optioned for the HD springs since I have BAMF bumper and winch up front and TOR rear bumper on rear until/if BAMF makes a rear variant. The HD springs helps counter the extra weight so you don’t eat up your lift with preload to balance the extra...
Not identical but Panda is doing my Eibach coil overs for $665. Another $200 to install the Icon tubular DJ UCA’s.
I talked with another local shop and they were almost the same money. With them I explored the 6112 option. Parts were a hair cheaper but install was a little higher at around...
Since my mirror order got cancelled I was considering this option.
Glancing over reviews, I saw some negative comments about the devices degrading and not working very well after several months of use. Also, saw a few complaints about the Ubiquiti/Unifi eco system. I am pushing Ubiquiti devices...
Thank you! I ordered the Hyundai mirror for $25. Still a decent price IMO. Looks to include an extra wiring harness, wire taps, etc in addition to the mirror.

@KC2LLW here is that Braptor I saw on my FB feed. Looks like their website has listed at $77,500 as it includes a $2,000 Ford rebate. Not sure what strings are needed (if any) to get the $2k but may be worth a phone call...
