  1. Ride Height - Base + Sasquatch vs Badlands

Yeah if could I would buy screenless as well.
  2. Ride Height - Base + Sasquatch vs Badlands

Of course there is the other stuff, but I'm primarily looking at suspension. I can add skids later. I honestly dont want all the collision detection stuff and wish they had a model without power accessories. Its why I'm comparing the Base+SAS and Badlands. Less is more to me, its why I...
  3. From Wrangler to Bronco

Same on the Wrangler, you gotta tip the throttle every shift.
  4. Ride Height - Base + Sasquatch vs Badlands

Okay, so basically the same except for the disconnect which I could do with a wrench on a few minutes. So the Sas has the HOSS2 suspension? Why is Fords website not clear on that. I did notice the price difference of sas on bl compared to base. I guess that difference is in the tires and wheels...
  5. From Wrangler to Bronco

I was looking at early 90s, pre obd2, manual 4liter Wranglers as a project. Probably still will. I wanna hot rod the fk out of one so bad. Would be a rowdy ass go kart.
  6. Ride Height - Base + Sasquatch vs Badlands

So I'm looking at two options. Base (hoss1) + SAS (essentially hoss2?) or Badlands (hoss2) w/o SAS. Starting to go down the rabbit hole. Either way they both seem to have the same axles, locking carriers and 4.7 rears. I dont care about quick disconnects. Im wondering about ride height between...
  7. From Wrangler to Bronco

I driven one manual Bronco and holy crap was that eye opening. Made me realize how much of marshmallow clutch pedal the JL has, that how annoying the dual mass fly wheel actually is. Its beyond me why a dual mass was chosen. They always feel sloppy to me. The manual in the Bronco was bliss. Loud...
  8. From Wrangler to Bronco

I like the 2.7, but no manual transmission option.
  9. From Wrangler to Bronco

That there is my hang up. As odd as it is to some, I like how the Wrangler drives. Its has an early 90's truck ride with a Go Kart feel. Its the same with the power accessories, it has none and I like that. But that not to say the more modern characteristics of the Bronco is a bad thing, there...
  10. Auto Start Stop Staying Off!!

Omen. ASS stops working when something is wrong or commanding it off. Dieing battery, weak charging, off timing, poor emissions, off temps, AC on blast, failed inputs or outputs. Just recently fixed ASS on a Expedition that had failing phasers.
  11. From Wrangler to Bronco

Wonder what the Jeep sub would say outside of the few outliers there.
  12. From Wrangler to Bronco

Yeah, no intentions of rock crawling. Never intended it for the Jeep either. The ride and clutch are better from what I've seen of driving the PDIs and customer cars
  13. From Wrangler to Bronco

APIMs... dude. They need to find a different manufacturer or come up with a better design. They're a problem in every vehicle. Someone in the shop is always diaging or replacing one. Theyre common enough that I even got em before I got my electrical cert that I'm currently at training for.
  14. From Wrangler to Bronco

2024 Wrangler is in the shop again within 4k miles for more Misfire issues. I work for Ford, my dealer doesn't see many high mileage Broncos (all sub 45/50k), the ones I do see in the shop and have had in my bay haven't had major issues outside of the occasional waterpump (wtf ford, why cant...
