@Mr_Scoutmaster I reserved on July 17 and placed the order when they called me (for the first time) on Feb 21. I've been dealing with Charity over at Mac Haik and she hasn't been helpful at all. When the email came out about the top she said she wouldn't recommend change from MIC to soft top...
Anyone have their order with Mac Haik in Georgetown? I've been struggling with them, have had basically radio silence since placing the order in February, and the 2 times I have had luck getting someone on the phone, they have zero answers or insights they can give me. I also have a Lightning...
I have zero communication from dealer or Ford. Reserved in mid-July, dealer finally let me place the order in February. Basically radio silence since then. No email updates, no phone calls, nada.
I guess I'm still in the "complaining about delayed" camp :D
Austin is a lot of fun (I live just north of Austin,) and the drive from downtown to Horseshoe Bay is actually pretty easy. If you've never been here, it may be worth staying downtown to check it out and enjoy some of the best food in the country. There will also be a lot more hotels, and a lot...
Congrats on getting your Bronco! Bittersweet for me - I have the exact same build: 4D Badlands Sasquatch, Tow, MIC, High package. Reserved in July, ordered in Feb. Don't even have a VIN or build date yet. Dealer is worthless and just tell me that they know as much as I do.
I haven't been getting any of these emails. Literally the last email I got from Ford (aside from Lightning reservation) was my Bronco order confirmation in February.
For those traveling in and want to check out the area, there's a really good off road park in Marble Falls called Hidden Falls Adventure Park. If you're flying in, you can rent Jeeps, ATVs, & dirt bikes there but I would make a reservation.
Because this has been promoted as some special thing for those with pre-orders and suddenly having to shell out $600 to bring a friend makes it way less exciting.
I see this, but when checking out from the Off-Roadeo, it makes me check a box stating that I have already received this email from Ford. I put in my reservation last July and my order in February, but haven't received a voucher email:
Gross weight was what I was thinking too, but I wasn't able to add the bumper, running boards, or anything else like that. Not a big deal, easy to get in the aftermarket, but still thought they were odd dependencies.
Here's how I'm spec'd out:
Wouldn't let me order it with 2.7L Badlands w/ Sasquatch. The dealer tried to do it themselves as well and they also said they couldn't do it. Such a weird dependency.
