  1. Bucking on Acceleration

My '22 BD, 4 dr, 2.3 MT, has 12,500 miles on it and this has now happened 3 times; twice on a dirt road and once on a paved . When accelerating from 2nd to 3rd, it starts bucking, almost like I'm stomping on the gas pedal and releasing it in quick succession. Only lasts a couple of seconds and...
  2. When is an engine block heater really needed?

I lived at 9200' in the Colorado Rockies for 30 years, and never had a block heater, and only one time when it was -30 did my truck not start. Lucky for me a county truck was driving by a few minutes later; I flagged him down, and he jumped me!
  3. Did I Miss Something?

I pay $114 for full synth and 5 tire rotation on my 2.3L.
  4. Why don’t people like the OEM tires/wheels?

Since I never see my wheels when I'm driving, and my stock tires have gotten me everywhere I needed to go, I'm happy with the 2022 BD stock wheels/tires!
  5. Camping in a Blizzard (Video)

Best temp for coffee is 185, and the 3 candle Uco will get there with no problem; I've even done it with my 1 candle Uco, but it takes about 3X as long (which obviously makes sense, and it's a bit tippy). The only thing that I don't like about a French press is the cleanup; if you're only out...
  6. Camping in a Blizzard (Video)

I've done lots of winter camping (if I'm heading into the boonies I leave my teardrop and sleep in the Bronco, and my 100 lb Pittie/Mastiff provides lots of "heat"), and the best way I've found to bring less stuff and save my battery is to use my 3 candle Uco to heat my water in the morning for...
  7. Deepsleep inflatable memory foam mattress - Review [pics and video]

Have had mine since they came out, and only got one side since it's just me and my 100 lb Pittie/Mastiff, and love it, and a great review!
  8. Do You Really Need AWD? Settling The Winter Tire Debate (great video by Engineering Explained)

Since so many vehicles sold today are trucks and SUV's, why not talk about A/T tires; we're on a Bronco forum, aren't we?
  9. My Bronco T-boned broadsided by a Pathfinder at 50 mph. Walked away with small scrape on arm

It's good that your daughter is OK, and I'll assume that the driver of the Pathfinder was just pissed off that she was driving a MUCH better vehicle!
  10. 2021 Bronco Base DIED WHILE DRIVING today

Sorry that you got a crappy Bronco, but you're lucky that you have such a great wife; I would gladly have kept my Bronco to get rid of my ex-wife!
  11. Towing UTV / ATVs

Have towed my TagXL Boondock with about 300-400 lbs of gear (total 2000+lbs) around 2,000 miles with my '22 4 Dr BD w/2.3 MT with no problems, so you should be fine!
  12. Why do Bronco owners drive so slow?

Thanks; I love chocolate chip cookies!
  13. Folding Tailgate Table w/ built-in PACKOUT mount by Foutz Motorsport

"...onto the outside of the tailgate..."! If they can't even describe their product, correctly, I'd be concerned about the build quality!
  14. Why do Bronco owners drive so slow?

So you're a "speed devil" who has lights that make everyone just get outta your way, demanding that they (whoever they are) need to teach people to drive? You live in NJ, so your attitude seems appropriate and pretty arrogant.
  15. Window Sticker am i missing anthing?

For $100,000, I sure as hell would imagine so!
  16. What is the appeal of off-roading?

If I sent you my wife's email address, could you explain to her why sex is fun; I've tried numerous times and she still doesn't get it!
  17. Eco mode for cold mornings

If ford thinks that driving in snow is the same as driving in sand (I guess there are some similarities) that explains a lot about ford!
  18. Eco mode for cold mornings

Well, it IS ford, so maybe wet=slippery to them (slippery when wet), and thanks for the clarification!
  19. Eco mode for cold mornings

I assume that "Wet" is "Slippery", because my 2022 BD doesn't have wet!?
