  1. 35" Pizza Cutters on 2 Dr. Big Bend No Lift-Is this doable?

I ended up removing my front bars to access the fog lights on the capable bumper and decided they were too much of a pain to reinstall so left them off. Ya the MT’s are in beast mode when you air them down but give a massive hit to MPG and acceleration if they are not firm enough. I went back to...
  2. 35" Pizza Cutters on 2 Dr. Big Bend No Lift-Is this doable?

Thanks for the mention lol. Ya have had zero problems with the Baja Boss 255/85R 17 on the steelies. In fact the only time I have had rubbing issues was going down a gnarly trail after getting the eibach’s but I’m pretty sure that is due to not installing new control arms and will be rectified...
  3. Discount tire won't install Icon Pro wheels?

Just playing devils advocate but maybe they did not read the description and realize they were beadlocks when they ordered them. Like others have said if those wheels were what you wanted could have taken delivery from DT and gone to an off road shop to get them mounted. Situation does suck though.
  4. Discount tire won't install Icon Pro wheels?

I agree with others on this post. I have never had an issue with DT and have used them pretty much exclusively for probably 20 years now simply because I have always gotten good or great service and like to travel so enjoy the peace of mind with pretty much always having a shop nearby that I can...
  5. Winch mounting opinion

Ya the 2.3, really wanted the manual so only option. The heat shrink was going to be used to attempt to cover the terminals but didn’t work. Will probably slip it over the ends of the boots then shrink it down.
  6. Winch mounting opinion

I recently install a solenoid wired to an aux switch to cut power to the winch. https://a.co/d/aFtsTZt Had to modify its included mounting bracket a little bit was able to attach it to the front of the battery tray. Waiting on the silicone boots to get here to protect the wires. So far no issues...
  7. Ford made a change in 2 Dr tops ?

That’s what I’m thinking, when the transferred the locating pins from the original top to the new one they put them in the wrong holes.
  8. 5 Tire Rotation - Bronco TPMS Sensors -The FACTS

I take mine to the dealership for oil changes simply because it’s easier than lying in my gravel driveway to remove the skid plate and deal with the mess and disposing the old oil. Plus to me it’s cheap peace of mind if anything ever goes wrong with the engine I don’t have to argue with them...
  9. Looking for 2-door roll bar fire extinguisher mount

I gave up on roll bar mount due to the lack of space. Went with the Amazon one I have seen a couple others post mounted to my M2M cargo shelf. Rattles can be cured by putting the soft side of some adhesive Velcro strips on the part that holds the extinguisher.
  10. Wide vs Narrow Tires for offroad performance -- a scientific comparison

I think it also depends on what part of the planet you are on. My home state has a lot of sharp volcanic rock so I go for higher weight rating for puncture protection. The Maintained gravel roads leading into the mountains have jabbed straight through my “C” range tires on several vehicles. But...
  11. Wide vs Narrow Tires for offroad performance -- a scientific comparison

I’m also running the MT Baja Boss in 255/85R17 on my non sas BD and factory steelies. No issues with rubbing at all. Little heavy on the steelies but great tire IMO have since added Eibach stage 2 coil overs for a little extra height and better ride.
  12. RC High Winch Mount Installed on Capable Bumper

Installed mine in March of 23. Have had zero problems with overheating and I have a cover on it to protect the synthetic line.
  13. RokBlokz removeable mud flaps

Was one of the first upgrades I did and they are still going strong 2 years later. Make sure you get in the habit of checking to make sure the thumb screws are tight as they will work loose over time.
  14. Capable bumper bull bar by IAG first photo!

Send me one to test it :ROFLMAO: If I was closer would definitely bring it by your shop to measure and look at.
  15. 2025 Ford Bronco Black Diamond Off-Road Package

Looking at the 2025 options I’m even more glad I got my 22 BD 2dr with manual when I did.
  16. Capable bumper bull bar by IAG first photo!

Definitely interested, will it fit around a bumper mount winch mount? I have the RC high mount winch bracket on mine and would like some extra protection for the winch.
  17. Perch Collars v. Eibach Coilovers. Questions

Will need Running the Mickey Thompson Baja boss at in 255/85R17 fit with crash bars installed before lift. They were able to get the alignment in spec but right at the edge with the factory UCA’s front end floated more than I like at first but got much better when I lowered them 1/4”...
  18. Perch Collars v. Eibach Coilovers. Questions

Just had the eibachs with standard springs installed on my 22 non sas BD the day after Christmas. Had previously put narrow 35” tires on the factory steelies. Ride ins noticeably softer that the factory shocks. I have a winch mounted out front and still don’t have as much brake dive as before...

The down side is that little wash out I fell into is almost 100 feet down. Winch mount saved me from rolling over….
