Perfect pics!! Thanks! I still have my crash bar mounted, so I hope I can squeeze it in between the crash bar and wheel well. I just looked at my front mud flap instructions again and the tools required include a 1/4" drill bit, and in step 10 of 11, it shows drilling two holes through two...
Thanks for the info! The instructions included with the mud flaps are terrible! Do you put the mud flaps behind the wheel liner? Are you able to take a photo of the installed front mud flap at some point? So I can get an idea of how it's installed? So no drilling? I see in the instructions that...
May be a silly question, but how did you get the Ford mud flaps to fit? Did you modify the side steps? I have a Big Bend, too. I just received my $50 Ford mud flaps today, but I have to first cut off the tip of my side steps or move them back an inch or two to allow clearance for the mud...
I just purchased a foam cannon, polish, Car-X, wheel brushes, and Gyeon EVO ceramic coating for the body and wheels! I'm going to be busy in a good way!
That's what I'm doing, little by little! I had Ford install the hood PPF and I bought A-Pillar PPF and headlight PPF from DRIVE PROTECTED from Canada. I also installed PPF on the door sills. Hoping to put PPF on the lower portion of the doors, rocker panel, and the inside of the tailgate once...
Great video! I just ordered $50 mud flaps from Ford! I have factory side steps, so I need to figure out if I'm going to re-drill mounting holes in the mounting brackets or cut off the ends of the side steps to mount the front mud flaps! I have a plastic bumper, so the rear mud flaps should be a...
Looking good!! I did the same with my Bronco, washed it, clayed it, and sealed it with some old Wolfgang sealant I had from several years ago. I picked mine up on Black Friday, so a quick detailing job was done before the weather took a turn for the worst (Chicagoland winters). Since then, I've...
I've recently seen that, that drilling holes in the mounting brackets and moving the steps back was an option, which I would rather do than cut off several inches! I ordered the $50.00 mud flaps from Ford Accessories today, so I'm hoping to tackle the project soon! Pics would be great! I'm not...
I liked the rims, tubes steps (before finding out they block the Ford mud flaps), and the Signature lighting options that were available at a great cost! I just wanted a vehicle that drove great on pavement while the doors/roof off, so BB is perfect for me!
Financially, yes, but I just want that clean, factory look, as if it came from MAP. I would think that by re-applying the end cap that no one would know that they were cut. So hopefully by Spring something will be out so I won't have to modify the running board!
I'm hoping to have someone chop off about two inches of my running board so I can install Ford mud flaps, the cheap ones! I think it'll be cheaper to pay to shorten them than to buy new ones, correct?
I'
I've never heard of that! In Illinois, you can get a ticket an obstructed windshield, like having dice hanging from the rearview mirror or tint. So if the ceramic coating is clear, it's not blocking one's view.
