I bit the bullet and drilled through the bracket and windshield frame. I didn't want to run it through the weatherstripping or down the side of the windshield like one of the other manufactures recommends.
When drilling the hole I must have found a spot weld. It was a real PITA. I used...
This is part of the Hammer Built Modular Tailgate Support System.

The shackles up front were only there for the show and I used them when strapping it to the trailer. I will not drive around with them making all that racket. LOL The RotoPax (jerry can) will probably be mainly used when out on the trails out in the middle of no where. Thanks for your kind...
Very intentional. You can't get them yellow like this direct from KC. We had to have decals printed for this look. This is a direct throw back to the 80's and the yellow KC vinyl covers. We did this on purpose. ;)
Wow guys! Thanks for all the complements. As previously mentioned, the Bronco started life as an AMB 2 Door Badlands Lux Package w/Tow. All the constraints. The entire truck was pulled apart for the paint work. All the panels with Wimbledon White were completely scuffed, then painted and...
I have been absolutely blown away by all the positive responses I’ve had today at the Bronco Super Celebration. Even though I was parked in the 6G area many people thought this was a much older vehicle. Today has been a blast. Pictures just don’t do this job the proper justice.
Your...
Im not loving this solution 100%, but that’s what I’m going with for this weekend. These are carbon fiber “close out” panels that I’ve made. I feel like the diagonal white stripe should have been a touch wider and the corners more “rounded“ off.
Thank you very much for your most generous complements.
I thought about using a clamp on bracket, but the tubing is at an angle and in my opinion would be very difficult to make the clamp work. I ordered the bumper and the pre-runner bar uncoated because I knew that I'd be welding tabs on...
This whole close out panel (that's what I'm calling it LOL) is always going to look like an after thought without spending a fortune on it. I had calculated that the panel I made would leave ab out 1/16" gap. Apparently my math sucks LOL
Our inspiration was a late 80's early 90's Bronco...
Don't get too excited just yet. LOL I'm still trying to pull it off. I made two closeout panels out of carbon fiber and painted them. I don't think I made the white stripe big enough. I'm still working on it though. I just got these back from the paint shop. They still need to be wet...
My wife’s initials are KC. So we had to use KC HiLiTES. You can’t get the old school yellow background light covers anymore, but my decal guy is hell with a printer.
