  1. Loose steering after lift

When you say loose, as in play in the steering wheel, or just not tracking right and following the grooves in the road? Who installed the lift, you or a shop?
  2. Hot Pepper Red or Eruption Green?

You can't go wrong with either, but with EG, you get green. With HPR depending on light conditions, it can be almost red, burnt orange, or bright orange. I love EG, but it was HPR for me, it's less common around here and it just stands out more.
  3. ***Update 4/19 Hail no... damage to MIC 2.0 hard top in large hail storm

I feel your pain, mine went through a hail storm 3 days after signing papers. My hail stones weren't to the size of yours, nor was the damage. I had 108 total dents, approx 80 of them were in the hood, every panel was dented except the passenger rear door. PDR repair took a week and the bill was...

  8. Steering Issue w/ Moderate Eibach Lift???

Just curious, did you ever find the cause of the probelm?
  9. Anyone install Kicker key 500 amp under the dash?

No, the amp is bolted to the bracket and the bracket is bolted to the 2 supports that it's sitting on, you can see the fender washers and nuts in the pic.
  10. Anyone install Kicker key 500 amp under the dash?

The 200.4 is just bolted to the metal plate under the steering wheel and for the 500.1, I cut a piece of 1/4" abs big enough to sit on top of the supports above the glove box and bolted the 500.1 to the abs panel. Pics are kinda hard to get of them in place, but here is what I could get.
  11. Anyone install Kicker key 500 amp under the dash?

I have the 200.4 mounted under the steering column and the 500.1 mounted above the glove box.
  12. Steering Issue w/ Moderate Eibach Lift???

It is for push/pull, but if not tight, could allow the slop in the steering you describe. I understand the tech said everything is tight, but it is possible that he didn't check that one bolt. It's real easy to check, have someone turn the wheel back and forth and see if the slop is there. I...
  13. Steering Issue w/ Moderate Eibach Lift???

If this isn't something you are comfortable checking or repairing, get it back to the shop ASAP.
  14. Steering Issue w/ Moderate Eibach Lift???

See 6:19 in this video, it shows the steering shaft connection that has to be taken apart/reassembled to install UCAs.
  15. Steering Issue w/ Moderate Eibach Lift???

I believe you have to pull the steering shaft apart to install those UCAs, I would definitely take a look at that slip joint in the steering column and make sure the bolt is tight and reconnected correctly. That could make for a horror show if it popped out going down the highway.
  16. Unable To Repair Dent

My bronco was caught in a hail storm 3 days after picking it up, my PDR guy had to repair every panel except the left rear door, I think the final total was 108. He didn't mention any problems with access and he even repaired dents with no access to the back side such as the panel above the...
  17. Finally got one.

Guess it just wouldn't be right if another Chris from SWLA did say welcome to the club. This is starting to feel like a Marvel production.
  18. Amp Research Powersteps Installation Tips

I made a little ABS bracket that attaches via the screw that holds the dash panel on.
  19. Spare tire lug nuts

I have a set similar to this, they're great, put them on the stud where the threads are still good and then thread them off. Never have to worry about being crooked when making a repair. Steelman M12-1.50 Metric Split Die Thread Chaser, Indexing Pins, Steel, Repairs Threads on Wheel Studs and...
  20. HELP-INSTALLED SAS SUSPENSION WITH LEVELING KIT ON NON SAS BIG BEND

I can't answer anything but, if you changed suspension, you need an alignment. As to what the UCA is supposed to look like with a leveling kit, I can't say, but it will definitely be angled more than it was. Are both you and your buddies broncos the same door and engine configuration?
