I have yet to hear anything from my local dealer since making my $100 deposit way back when. Fine with me. When it comes time to order I will order. When my Bronco arrives I will negotiate the trade-in and do the deal. It will be nice to finally order the Bronco though. All this discussion...
No. Prefer the Bronco. The Defender might be in the picture if towing capacity is very important. Otherwise the Bronco is better off road and easier and cheaper to outfit. I am talking about the USA. Other countries will be different.
Biggest give-up movers were motorcycles. Said goodbye to a Ducati Hypermotard SP and a KTM 790r Adventure. Said hello to a new Husqvarna FE 501s dual sport and carry it to the dirt to ride. Will trade in my Subaru Crosstrek for the Bronco. NOT giving up the 2017 Porsche 911 C2s or my wife's...
My Badlands will NOT be a mall crawler. I live close to the mountains and ride motorcycles there all the time. I bought a Subaru Crosstrek which is a very capable car to a point, but realized there are a lot of places in the mountains I want to drive that the Subaru cannot do. Enter the Bronco...
I am getting pretty excited finally:)
2 Door
Hard top with sound deadening
Lux package
2.7 engine
Sasquatch
Tow package
Winch-still thinking about the winch because of the front camera. Hoping Ford will have it sorted.
Area 51 color.
I like the MIC roof because scratches will be same color.
My...
For awhile when B&P came out I thought of switching to WT from BL but after seeing the 4 dr at the Filson event in Seattle I decided to stick with 2dr and the BL was better for me due to the sound deadening in the top, the vinyl seats, and the rubber floor. Still undecided on the winch as it...
Right now this is an exciting new model. Soon enough it will be just another Ford out on the roads and they will be pretty common in two years. I would be more inclined to give a thumbs up if I saw one out in the boonies somewhere.
Yes it is a valid concern, but I have done that with a lot of vehicles and no big surprises so far. I assume the Bronco will drive a bit like a Ranger. It will be a shocking change from my Subaru, but after a few minutes it will be fine and I will be headed for the rough stuff.
My build was about the price I expected based on prior estimates on this website. Somehow with all the extras I wanted, the build came to just under 55K for a two door. That's with hard roof, sound deadening in the roof, Lux package, Sasquatch package, tow package, and 2.7 engine. I will say...
I still have a questions about the tire sizes on both the Badlands and the Filson. The ones on the Badlands looked much bigger, but a walk around video on Youtube says the tires on the Filson are also 35s and people are saying the Badlands also has 35s. Does anyone know? Do they look different...
I made the arduous 5 mile journey :) to check out the cars and was happy to see the 4dr Badlands there. Not posting any pics because Scagzoola's are great. Help me here. Did the Badlands have 37s and the Filson 35s? I am currently driving a Subaru Crosstrek and these Boncos are BIG. That 4...
I'm still in. Oddly enough, after reserving a two door Badlands, then deciding a 4 door was better, I am back to the 2dr Badlands due to config options and price. I was not surprised by anything and at this point don't care about the lack of other options because I was not going to add any other...
You are right. Adding the sound deadening works until I add the 2.7 engine. Then no sound deadening, but still have the hard roof. I am also adding the LUX package too.
I will probably head down there just to have a look and get an impression of the vehicle. Mostly about how long and tall it feels and have a look at the interior spaces if possible. I really don't care about the Filson connection. Just want to see a Bronco in person.
Last night I was pretty set on a 4dr Badlands or Wildtrack. Both between 60-62k. Wildtrack ends up being a bit too pricey for my intended use and Badlands won't allow a solid top for 4dr. So now am looking at a 2dr Badlands, which is my reservation choice, because I can have the hard top with...
