I have been there quite a few times and would like to go exploring out there in my Bronco. Bit of a haul though from the Pacific Northwest. I love that park.
The Bronco will be my "daily driver" and will replace a Subaru Crosstrek. I use daily driver in quotes because I am retired and my daily driving consists of a lot of hauling mountain bikes or dirt bikes to the mountains to ride. I have two motorized toys and really enjoy both:)
I am still undecided about 2 vs 4 door. The 4 door would be more versatile, but then yesterday I was out riding dirt bikes on some two track and was thinking about having to turn around with a Bronco and 2 door wins for sure. On the other hand with a car I can back out or just avoid those spots...
Some states. Too lazy to list. All the western states. Some of the eastern states.
Countries: Mexico, Brazil (lived 5 years-wife from Brazil), Argentina, Chile, Canada, England, Spain, Portugal, France, South Africa (amazing safari experience!), Japan (fascinating country), and Singapore...
Thanks for the original post. I finally decided I am going Badlands/Sasquatich. Settled on Sasquatch after revisiting the approach, breakover, and departure angles as well as the ground clearance. I also want the Bilstein suspension to handle the off road stuff and not feel like I might break...
Well 0-60 on my future 2dr Badlands with the 2.7 has got to be a lot faster than my 150hp Subaru Crosstrek! Years ago we had a Buick Rendezvous which my wife loved but which had one of the slowest 1/4 mile times ever. I have paid my dues:) And yeah I have a nice sports car which has 0-60 times...
Two things caught my attention with this letter. One is the additional deposit. Two is agreeing on the purchase price. "Then, December through January, your selected dealer will be reaching out to schedule an order consultation when you will place your order for production and finalize your...
I wonder if build and price is going to have a lot more options to choose from than what we see now or just have the prices for the already known options.
I am also still undecided. Maybe build and price will help:) Logically for me the 33 would work best as I will be doing a lot of pavement, but that extra 1 inch of clearance might come in handy off road. Probably if I went 35 I would never really end up using it.
I definitely don't see the Bronco as any status symbol. I see it more as a vehicle I can use for places I want to go without breaking it. I am getting the Lux package but not for status. I just like that stuff.
No way I would switch my 911 for a Bronco! Will be trading a Subaru Crosstrek for a 2 door Badlands. Leaning towards the Sasquatch after I hit a stealth pothole yesterday in the Subaru which bottomed the suspension and hit the bottom of the trailer hitch. My 911 stays in the garage though!
Been a F1 fan since the early 80s. I lived in Brazil for 5 years when Senna burst onto the scene. Also love Moto GP. Generally the Moto GP races are more exciting than F1 but not always.
