  1. RPM Fuel Tank Skid Plate

Mine was doing the same, wouldn't read passed 3/4 tank. I pulled the skids and flattened them on my 40 ton press. While they were off I massaged the tank with some pry bars and got it back to shape. Fuel tank reads full again!
  2. RPM Fuel Tank Skid Plate

Just throwing this out there for those contemplating skid plate options for their fuel tanks. I was lured into going with the 1/4" Aluminum RPM Bronco skid plate as it was significantly cheaper than most others and seemed pretty similar, as well as being ready to ship when I called. I'm...

  6. Forscan for 35s - Toyo Open Country M/T

In 22 my parents bought a BB non sas with 3.73s and I bought a BB non sas with 4.27s. Both came with the same BB 31s or whatever. I put SAS take off wheels/tires on theirs and aftermarket much heavier 35" wheel/tire combo on mine. Even with the better gear ratio, my mileage dumped much more than...
  7. Forscan for 35s - Toyo Open Country M/T

I'd bet a lot of that difference likely has to do with the increased rotating weight rather than just the slight diameter change.

Ya just waiting to hear back from Ford Performance.
  9. Transformation Tuesday: Show Us Your Build Before-During-After!

Before and after. Had it since 4/22. Poor thing has more trail miles than street miles.
  10. M210 Locker Blowing Fuses

Got it to work intermittently in the shop again and thought maybe it would function under load. Took it on one of the hardest trails in Ca and the new front differential did great. But every time I needed the locker it popped a fuse lol. Still made it all the way to the lake without it luckily...
  11. M210 Locker Blowing Fuses

I install several Eaton E-locker a month in my shop and have never had one come back with a problem like this.
  12. M210 Locker Blowing Fuses

update for anyone interested. Went to show a friend how the locker wouldn't function by touching the 2 leads directly to battery power with a 20A fuse (Like I tried several other times) and randomly it worked! So I wired it to my switch panel with a 15a fuse and function tested it several times...
  13. M210 Locker Blowing Fuses

Happen to still have that rear carrier laying around? Would possibly be interested in it.
  14. M210 Locker Blowing Fuses

Above I posted that I tried with a different meter, that one was auto. Read 4.2 in rear and 0.00 front.
  15. M210 Locker Blowing Fuses

Appreciate all the info. I guess my next question would be, what are the odds it’s a bad wire or something fixable if I were to crack it open? Not sure I’m gonna get any help from Ford performance or if it’s possible to just buy a coil.
  16. M210 Locker Blowing Fuses

New development. Friend brought better multi meter. Rear reads 4.2, front reads 0.00. Sweeeeett.
  17. M210 Locker Blowing Fuses

Interesting, so if my reading of 0 is correct the coil is toast? Genuinely confused why I'm getting 0 at the rear then?
  18. M210 Locker Blowing Fuses

Tried it, same result. Took of the housing union thingy and tested the locker plug directly. 0 ohms
  19. M210 Locker Blowing Fuses

Here is a pic of testing ohms at the rear again. After this was taken, I triple checked that it locks and unlocks just fine.
