I've got a 2025 Heritage with the 7 speaker setup, and apparently the sub amp is more powerful. That probably means 150W instead of 110W.
If I use the stock location and stock amp is 6.75" or 8" recommended? I don't mind trimming. Also, it looks like the OEM subwoofer is 2ohm, wired like...
Thanks for the compliment! Since the light is mounted with one bolt only, I'm able to rotate is about 25 degrees overall. The light is rotated backwards slightly, which is why it's so bright. I rotated it straight down so the rear enclosure is lit, not me. Much better...
My 2025 does NOT have the capability to add the usual top center Mabett light for the interior, so I tapped into the side light in back. I used a Bison Offroad Yak! light (600 lumens) and it nestles in PERFECTLY when I mounted in on the bottom bolt for the rear speaker pods.
I fished the wire...
Check out my friends Youtube page at Bent Motorsports. They have an '85 Jeep on leaf springs, and hopefully they'll have full live coverage, complete with really NSFW swearing while they run the course. ;)
I've got a 2025 Heritage with the same style top. The deadener include four plastic plugs holding it on, and I ASSume they're Christmas Tree plugs. If you have no plugs, it's most likely taped on.
They should just be held on with four (or more) plastic plugs (Christmas-tree style). They should be a friction fit and can be backed out, although a clip tool will do a better job than a screwdriver as you don't want the plugs to break.
OK, one more question--I looked under my 2025 and was surprised to see what looked like a round pin hitch connector hiding in a metal housing. The metal housing was held by two completely oversized (12-14mm) bolts that were far longer than needed. The bolts were in the tow hook holes.
Has...
I bought the 16 pin adapter for use with the Wolfbox TriPro as I didn't want to fish any more damn wire around the windshield just for power. BUT lo and behold, the 16 pin Ford adapter that is all over Amazon and Ebay is not used. It's actually a 12 pin, and is not the same as the Toyota 12...
Non-B&O seven speaker system.
My plan is Kicker 200.4 amp, and setting up as a BI-AMP for the four front speakers. So that means the Kicker 200.4 will power the front four speakers while the head unit amp will take care of the rear two speakers. I will upgrade the woofer after taking stock...
Listen dude, it's WINTER and no one here in Southern California takes their top off when it gets under 70 degrees. ;)
Honestly though, these are great tools that I've used on other projects...very handy.
I purchased a set of stubby Torx bits on Amazon. They fit into a 12mmm ratchet and make hard-to-reach Torx extraction easy.

I chose these Memphis coaxial speakers for the back, and even without Forscan they...
I love the hockey puck striping you put on your rig...very nice! I was considering that myself.
Gotta say that this Robin's Egg Blue color gets compliments almost every day....crazy. One yesterday and my post office driver today. You just don't get that reaction from a Honda Pilot. ;)
I was happily surprised at how easy it was to install the S&B airbox. I chose this box for:
--Price
--Flows over 55% more air
--Has a MASSIVE filter, and a MASSIVE port that allows you to replace the filter without removing the whole assembly
It took about an hour and I found that hand tools...
This group has been a refreshing change from others I've been in. I've got a Wolfbox tri waiting under my Christmas tree, and it's great to know that there are people I can reach out to about questions I have, including Wolfbox themselves.
Merry Christmas all....
I only heard the sound on startup when the idle is higher than normal. I pulled the truck out and popped the hood this morning, and.....no sound. So it doesn't seem to be an issue.
I agree--thanks for asking, and for the video.
I'm 6' 1", 60 years old and I do like how tall the cabin is. It's like my old LR3, but if the Bronco had a big windshield then it wouldn't look the way it does now. I'll take it. I am LOVING this truck so far, although today I did hear some ugly "valve tap" sound on engine warmup that went...
