Can you remove the roof rack and drive around without worrying about rain getting in any mounting holes? Im considering ordering the factory roof racks and only putting them on when needed.

I’m planning on ordering a 2023 basesquatch and contacted a local dealer to ask how many allocations they have and if they also have a waitlist. The dealer said they haven’t received an allocation number yet. When are they supposed to find out how many units they can sell? Or am I not...

I called my dealer and they said they don’t have any sort of waiting list. Just to call whenever the order banks open (he didn’t seem to know an exact date even when I asked if 8/15 would be the date). Should I be concerned?

Is there any benefit of ordering a base squatch today vs waiting until after 8/15 to see if anything interesting pops up in the 2023 ordering books? I know that I would be pushed to a 2023 anyways, but would my priority (ordering today) go ahead of anyone who placed an order after 8/15?
