There is a small ridge along the inside edge of the front fender. Lift the trail sight up a bit and you can move it over to the fender, then tighten the bolts. For a video reference, go to 10:30 of this video
I ordered both. Delivery in Feb. so hard-top was installed and Bestop soft-top was in boxes. Had to assemble that myself (whole other story - Dealer Installed Option DIO doesn't seem to be a real thing). Love the soft top, and think that if I only had one it would be that -- it's just so much...
Does anyone have an STL file for the bucking horse logo similar to the Bucking Bronco on etsy? I bought one of these, but would like to make a bigger version. Thanks in advance!
Added Mabett Cargo Area Cover (mostly to keep stuff from blowing out on the highway, $90 on Amazon). Simple install - the well-designed brackets make it easy to put them in the right location.
Dunno about the car wash, but we had a couple absolutely torrential downpours last week and mine didn't leak. I hear you about their Support -- it took too many messages to get a missing bolt sent out ("send me a picture of the problem"....so I should send a pic of an empty bag?) and about 4...
My dealer refused to install the soft top (said he wasn't interested in "dealing with accessories"). If I'd realized I paid for install, the conversation would have gone differently.
BestOps offers a $500 install, which should at least get you someone that's done it before. But I opted to do...
Lower option shown below. It's not a big difference - maybe 3 inches -- but it makes the step much more functional. You can see the mounting bolts for the higher option in these pictures.
Mounted my AR Magnum Stirrups!
I picked the machined finish to go with the carbonized gray. Installation was straightforward overall. They offer 2 mounting heights -- this is the higher one. I think I'm going to try moving them to the lower setting and see what I think (I can post pics...
Mine took almost 3.5 months. They arrived last week. The website now says there's a 10-wk backlog on them (wish they'd had these message there all along to set expectations).
I ordered a dual top and it came with the Bestop Trektop rather than the Ford OEM top. Two boxes, about 80 parts (I'm guesstimating). Had everything you needed to switch from hard top to soft.
They mention it being very tight right after you install it, but say it will stretch out. (I spent most of today installing mine -- they may say it's 1.5 hrs, but plan on 4-6. I suggest you have the Bestop install video on a tablet/laptop alongside the instructions while you do it.)
Would love to see an answer for this. I thought maybe it defaulted to the first or last phone added, but it doesn't. No way to reorder priority on screen or pick a primary.
Other threads have raised concerns about the window breaking due to bouncing around if it's open while you're driving. Not sure if that's verified or just speculation...
CJ Pony Parts (and others, I assume) already offer these. https://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-grille-letter-overlays-tufskinz-domed-front-set-bronco/p/BRDECAL-V/?qty=1
Wanted to share this because it works so well. Second wireless charger (for the wife's phone) - my Lux package includes a wireless charger behind the (manual) gear-shift. I picked up the Mabett Console Organizer ($12.50 - I got the single shelf) and a REESTECQI 15w Wireless Charging Pad ($20)...
