I can go between my Bestop soft-top and the Bronco hard top in about 45 min (after the initial assembly and installation of the soft-top -- as others have noted, that's about a 5hr ordeal). You'll need someone to help you lift the soft-top off and lift the rear part of the hard top on (so you...
I go topless and doorless all summer. The JTops Bimini is high quality and keeps the wind down on the highway and the sun off your head (especially if that hair's starting to thin a little). I learned the hard way that you have to put anything that isn't bolted down into the way-back to keep...
I put mine in a tarp, clip some carabiners thru a couple of the grommets, and hang it on my garage wall.
Storing your hard top in the summer is more of a challenge. You can buy storage bags for the front and middle panels, install a hoist and store it hanging from the ceiling, or buy one of...
Finally broke down and put the doors and soft top back on. They've been off since mid-May and I've been loving the fresh air, but it's getting too chilly in the mornings and the evenings...
There are companies that sell alternate letters in the BRONCO font, as well as ones that light up. Definitely simpler if you stick with 6 letters. Also videos on YouTube showing how it's done.
In the "money is no obstacle" category, I love my AR Magnum Stirrups. But you have to be very patient waiting for them to arrive.
Another (inexpensive and portable) option for reaching the top without a step ladder, whether that's to load skis or even wash it, is this step that clips into your...
Nope, no response to either my post here or my direct message to them (or my follow-up). Unfortunately, that's not terribly surprising with Mabett. Their customer service is not very good.
Follow-up on Trail Sight Install: Two of the LEDs on one of my @Mabett Trail Sights have already burned out. Contacted Mabett 5 days ago to see if they'd be covered under warranty but haven't gotten a response.
Attached. They blend in really well with the interior, and they're pretty much out of sight between the seat and the pillar. In my install, you can still see the StickerFab clips above them. You need to install them where the metal of the seat belt will fall over them.
[Sorry if this is a repeat, but I couldn't find it when I searched.]
I discovered an important tip for putting down the Bestop Slantop (4-door in my case). I found that the roof material hung into the back seat, and flapped around when I drove (especially at highway speeds). The first two...
Took my Ford dealer 2 weeks to diagnose a bad battery, and when I got it back they'd uninstalled my trail sight lights (as in, pulled all the wiring and left it in a ball on the floor) when all they had to do was pull the add-a-fuse.
They also locked themselves out, and lost my key fob.
Quality.
No, the phone is definitely not warm. I use several wireless chargers, and none of them (including the Bronco one, until recently) make it feel warm or trigger a temperature warning. BTW, it's a Samsung Galaxy Fold (Android), not Apple.
