I've seen about a dozen - a lot of Outer Banks, one FE, one Badlands, and a bunch of others I couldn't see because they were too far away. I also saw my first 2-door yesterday. All the others are 4 doors with soft tops (except for the FE). Colors are mostly Area 51, Oxford White, and Carbonized...
Where in NJ are you located? I live in Cherry Hill.
Also, I dig the wheels in your first and last pictures. They remind me of the ones on the Everglades. What are they?
I think it means we won't be taking delivery until after May. It's unlikely they would email us just to tell us what we've already known for like 7 weeks.
Got the same thing a minute ago. So, either they don't think we already know about their original target date of completion in May 2022, or they're admitting they won't be able to meet that deadline.
Also, I think it's safe to assume they won't be shipping them without certain chips.
I hear you. I work from home and I check this forum like every hour, along with the pizza tracker. It's infuriating. Tomorrow marks 1 month since my original EDD.
You have a fundamentally different build, so you're comparing apples to oranges. The OP said nothing about having placed a reservation for a vehicle with a feature that would only become available in 2023, thus precluding Ford from cancelling.
Ford wouldn't go this route if it could expose them to future liability in situations like you describe. Say what you want about companies negligently designing vehicles in ways that cause or contribute to accidents, but this is a far different situation, and I just don't see a sophisticated...
I'm not so concerned about the unfinished part since it could be something irrelevant (like auto start-stop, which I'll just disable anyway). Nor am I concerned about a rugged vehicle seeing a little snow. But I would be a little annoyed that I wasn't able to get my vehicle on my original EDD...
I wonder what finally made them go this route. Running out of room for storing partially built vehicles? Logistical nightmare finishing those vehicles? Regardless, it's good news, we just have to hope it applies to Broncos since the article doesn't specify.
