At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Granger ends up with a significant percentage of all 1st year Bronco sales.
I'll probably be switching mine soon since my local keeps giving me the "Pricing hasn't been released by Ford yet so we can't.... blah blah blah" routine. In fact their latest...
As tempting as a manual is I've been rowing my own gears for over a decade. I'm ready for a low effort slush-box on my daily commute. I don't have crazy rock crawling plans so I'm fine with the auto. I haven't decided on Squatch or not yet. Need the B&P for that. :-/
$1000 below invoice + an additional $300 off if you have a X-plan code. Plus what TK-421 says above.

Thanks, for the reply. I figured there had to be some mechanism keeping dealerships from living down to the worst reputation possible. I've heard/read everything from unwanted add-on, to the relatively mild previously quoted "hope" the customer will walk away. Just trying to ask the...
This may have also been answered, but I haven't seen it. The following quote or some variation is a common thought/comment.
You've mentioned a few times that delivery rate of ordered vehicles is a metric Ford tracks. What is the effect of fail to deliver? I.e. Bronco gets ordered dealer...
lol, Thanks. My first dealership was pretty open about why they wanted complete inspections with actual notes vs blindly checking all green. Plus I asked questions when a big deal was made of earning the presidents award. One of the newer managers was all to happy to explain when I asked why...
The main way is hold-back. Check the terminology thread that Albert (Granger Ford) already linked.
The second way is: by moving a lot of these vehicles their dealership can move up the lists Ford Corporate monitors based on various metrics. One of the goals is to earn a presidents award from...
Poaching "his" customers? I don't think they are technically customers until after they buy something. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
When we get a little closer to the Oct 31st switch date I'll be asking my local if they'll match or beat your offer, no offense. If not I'll probably switch...
I'm not terribly surprised. It's a bit sad though that they feel they need to insult and or threaten you rather than deal honestly with their customers. ?‍♂️
I suspect the reservation number is nothing more than an identifier for your data packet. If somebody cancels their data packet gets deleted freeing up the "reference" number again.
Ford will look at all the orders and develop a manufacturing plan based on whatever magical formula says which...
I'd bet at least $1 on Ford expecting cancellations and therefore they "sold" some percentage over the 3500 mark to cover those. Kind of like how the airlines almost always over sells flights (before the Rona plague). Also in the reservation FAQ and in the terms and conditions it basically...
The service manager at Anderson Ford of Lincoln (Nebraska) has stated that they will NOT be adding markup on orders and WILL honor A/X/Z/D plans if offered.
My initial reservation was the 4 door Badlands because it looked more affordable than the wild track. However the more I read i decided to use my second available reservation on a 4 Door Wildtrack.
When pricing and configurations come out i'll decide which i really want/need. The Wildtrack...
A dealer holdback is an amount that auto manufacturers provide to auto dealers for each new vehicle that is sold. The holdback is usually a percentage of the invoice price or the manufacturer's suggested retail price, or MSRP. A typical holdback is 2 percent to 3 percent of the MSRP...
