Don't feel too bad, Ford tries to get away covering whatever it can, since the pandemic, they have majored in corner cutting and poor customer service.
Ford is certainly not known for build quality, using those two words together for Ford doesn't make sense, the company used to be a lot better, now they are throwing stuff together and hoping we don't notice, it's sad really.
To me it's nearly a high performance engine, but if it suffers the fate of so many other Ford EcoBoost 4cyl's it may be an issue. Hopefully Ford fixed the 1.6 and 2.0 Ecoboost issue where the 2.3L won't have the same issues. But there are plenty of videos that clearly show the cooling to be an...
I'm not a fun of the Bronco after my issues with it, moved to a 4Runner, BUT the thing I will miss the most about the Bronco is my manual, yes it's sort of Chinese crap, but then again, so much of American cars are, including the Bronco are, but it was a delight to drive 90% of the time, the...
Yeah I decided to jump on the 2024 last year of the 5thGen version, I think I like the more analog experience from a decade and a half old platform. While the 6th Gen 4Runner will surely be nice, it's all new and even Toyota can screw stuff up initially. The good part is they actually care...
HAHA, I learned quickly myself that mudding came with serious drawbacks and now look to avoid mud whatever I can, because of the last part of your message🤣
Man, I will check that out. Yeah, I hung out as a Ford fan forever, partly as a patriot being an American vehicle, but they aren't and like you said, they just don't care, there's no honor in what they produce anymore, no legacy to leave. Much of American business, at least large business has...
I agree, I was a 32 year Ford guy since I was a kid and even before I could drive, my experience with my just traded in Bronco has turned me to the 4Runner, never before would I have ever thought to buy a Toyota, wanted to get one before the redesign and it's made 100% in the same factory in...
I had the same noise, went in and got it taken care of. I would have loved to have seen the fluid when it came out. Maybe nothing was wrong with it, but still curious. As far as what you should do, definitely take it in and get it done, to me this is a no brainer, it's a TSB covered by Ford...
It's great, it's the thing I will miss the most when I sell it and get a 4Runner, which doesn't come with one. But I had the grinding issue as well, got it taken care of, but was out for 3+ weeks and then had several other issue with it, Ford just doesn't really care about quality, especially...
I would not trust the Bronco, since my Powertrain Malfunction/Loss of Power issue which caused the Bronco to lose ALL POWER, engine, brakes and steering, which resulted in an accident, thank God, single vehicle, I have seen multiple, now maybe 6 or 7 posts just on this forum. Ford will not...
So far, only used it a few times, but it didn't disappoint and Warn wanted a crap ton of money for synthetic rope and I wasn't buying Chinese, so Sherpa it was, very happy with the purchase.
I also have the JCR winch mount bumper for the modular Ford bumper and it's a great product like all the other JCR stuff, made in America, no PRC junk, like so many other products on the market. I'd strongly recommend a JCR.
I think if you can find one deal better than the next, I'd go with that tire. I mean yes the 315's are slightly smaller, but few 35's are also true 35's. Spend anytime on Tirerack and you'll see the same thing. Yes they are closer to a true 35, but I think tires are like shoes anyway, each...
Yeah between transmission issues and computer software issues and other minor quality issue, I'm done with Ford. Lot of car makers had issues during Covid, but Ford has really used it as an excuse to put out crap vehicles. After 32 years of being a Ford guy, I'm done. Good luck with yours.
Yep, I am still dealing with my Powertrain Malfunction, after 5 months of the dealer having it and a Ford engineer looking at it, they say it works just fine, but no one at Ford can explain why I got this code and lost power and brakes.
Don't hold your breath, my Bronco has been at Ford for nearly 4 months because of a powertrain malfunction and brake failure, Ford doesn't care as I am slowly learning.
