Went to the 70th Jeepers Jamboree this last weekend and had an epic time! For anyone that is curious about doing the rubicon the is a great trip to do. They take care of everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything! They get you thru the trail with spotters and rock rollers, and have...
Good looking out, but I don't need a sign. I am building my own cooler rack and putting a design in the bottom would be cool. If jcr wants to sell me the dxf file I would be good with that also. Either way It doesn't matter to me. Already found it online so I no longer need it.
Lol, it was just a question. He didn't design that logo. I can get that image and make a dxf file out of it and cut it out myself. I was just asking to save myself some time. I own my own cnc plasma table. They sell them to the public so you can make stuff. I am not selling anything so not sure...
Any chance in getting the dxf file? I am building a cooler rack and it would be cool to put the badlands logo in it! I understand if not, I realize you are a business.
Its do able, there may be rock stacking, and having a spotter guide you from outside the vehicle, but I don't see any reason why it would be a problem. The obx have lockers?
The trail would be do able no problem. I have seen fullsize vehicles on the trail often. I would personally pull the bigger flares off but you should be good. You will just need to pick your lines carefully since its a wider track width, but on the rubicon lots of full width axles.
The 2 doors are around 100in if I am not mistaken. When I built my old jeeps and my old pro mod comp buggy, 100in was the sweet spot. Any longer and you had lots of break over issues, and to alieviate those issues you lifted things to get height to clear the belly, but made it more prone to roll...
It never felt light in the front or rear at all. Coming up out of the springs on Cadillac there is a few good climbs and it felt stable. I got the same question from a gladiator owner. The two door is so manuverable it was awesome. I used the trail turn assist all the way in and out, no 2 point...
Honestly, uppers are not something to get crazy with. They don't take any direct abuse from impacts so I just went with a nice tubular one and saved the money. Billet stuff looks killer but in an upper control arm its probably not nesscesary. But, the rpg stuff is nice for sure!
Yeah -12mm offset. Its my wifes daily driver. Not sure what would be the difference of a non beadlock and beadlock on the road? I torqued them all myself with a digital torque wrench and then rechecked them after a few 100 miles. Everything was so good I didnt even need to have them balanced...
