I find while jamming around the desert in Nevada being able to go into 4H and disconnecting the sway bar with the touch of 2 buttons is priceless for ride quality along with 12 PSI in tires. Love my Badsquach. Jim.
This subject cracks me up. If this tech was developed 50 years ago everyone on here would think if you didn't use it you were nuts. I haven't heard of allot starters being replaced because of ASS. I do know while I'm sitting idling I'm getting "0" MPG and vehicles emissions are greatest while...
OP, sounds like you found you're issue and just don't realize it. I used to work in a high end independent shop with 13 Techs and we always discussed types of oils. at one point we ran controlled tests on different oils and found Pennzoil dropped 10 lbs oil pressure, amazed me and I can't tell...
I Guess I'll through physics and logic out the window, in 4x4 it adds another axle operating at least one more wheel to help you steer and brake with engine braking. Those of us with lockers front and rear now double that factor. Just my thoughts, feel free to correct me please. Would love to...
Aaron, Pedal Commander takes the lag away and gives you your "feel" back.
Brian, I want whatever that is your smoking. You must be joking. from now on I'll just get out and walk home. To hell with this 4x4.
Los, my feelings exactly. This is why the aftermarket loves these people. If Ford with all their millions in r and d thought they could save millions leaving them off I'm sure they would. They are probably there for a reason. Just my 2 cents. Jim.
Bought one of these back in the 80's, mine is made of chrome tubing but works fantastic. customers thought I was a god. I used to keep it on the service island. Just used it on my buddy's 91 bronco. His would hardly close. He was shocked it worked so well. Jim...
To the original OP. This factory hitch is rated for 350lbs tongue weight and 3500lbs trailer weight. I would not use your setup for anything much for recovery. If you think it looks cool then DWMYH. Jim. P.S. Crawl under the back and take a look, you'll see. I'm surprised it's rated as high as...
If you bend a frame rail on these newer vehicles they cannot be straightened, they will break. Ask a "knowledgeable" body shop. There is a company on here that sells a reinforcement kit for the front frame rails just for bumper mounted winches and flat towing that is a very good idea. Not sure...
IMO 4A is very nice. It's my go to when off road until rock crawling. Also when the wife is driving in inclement weather I don't have to worry about her choosing the right 4x4 mode at the right time. Just touch the 4A and you'll be fine. If I could figure out how to disconnect the sway bar in 4A...
Lol, watch out for those goats! had a Donkey in Oatman Az biting on my Harley seat and a BMW in my son's body shop with bite marks all over the body, a mess. Jim.
