I think after waiting over a year for my carbonized grey my mind was just changed to the Area 51! I think this is the first time I've seen the color look so good
This is my dream! I've taken Black Bear many times in my FJ and 4Runner over the years and always wished I could take those corners without doing a 12-point turn. When (if) my Bronco ever comes in I'll be making this dream come true 🤘
I totally agree. I had an FJ for 10 years and the Bronco is like a 4 door FJ with all the off-road capabilities and tech that the FJ should have had.
Here's my old FJ:
Here's my opinion between the 4Runner and Bronco -
I live in Colorado with a 4Runner and a had an FJ for 10 years, and hit all those trails in the San Juan's on a regular basis. Imogene is a fun trail but not technical at all, IMO. They make it look more dramatic then it actually is and I think...
@BroBronco For someone who doesn't have their Bronco yet (been waiting since I reserved it July 2020), and for someone who doesn't know what the auto start/stop function even is/does, can you explain what it is and what the purpose of this device does? I've never had a vehicle with this...
Do you know if the Raptor will offer front and rear lockers and/or sway bar disconnect, or will it be more of a desert runner without the off-roading capabilities?
Just to piggyback on what you said, I have a Total Chaos 4" suspension kit and they require an elongated CV axle for exactly the reason you mentioned. I would imagine a 4" spacer would cause a lot of stress on the strut. As the LCA drops further, the angle of the CV axle drops as well and once...
So does this still apply to the folks like me who have the carbonized gray MIC on order? I remember reading last week that all hard tops were delayed EXCEPT the carbonized gray MIC. Does this still stand true??
The 4R is severely underpowered. I had to regear to 4.88s and add a pedal commander to just to get a little juice back out of the weak 4.0L V6. But I can only imagine that Toyota has something up their sleeve that they haven't released yet. I can't imagine they are not going to compete in the...
I 100% am hoping the same thing, or a new FJ-style vehicle. Something similar to the Bronco in tech and fun. I had an FJ for 10 years and now own this 4Runner but I'm tired of their weak engines and low tech.
It would be ideal if a company would create a bumper with the winch recessed down and behind the bumper. A lot of aftermarket Toyota (and probably other manufacturer) bumpers are made this way. I don't like having my winches exposed. Here's my 4Runner for reference:
