  1. Anyone else use their Bronco as an ATV?

I gave up rear doors (and a 5th seat) at the alter of Ford, but at least I got 4 cupholders out of it! XD
  2. Leaking seal at MIC roof and windshield frame

Fitment could be a factor for sure - the 2 panels up front do fit ever so slightly differently… passenger side sits a couple mm (can you tell I’m Canadian?) rear of the driver side, and the rear outer corner sticks out a little more. However I doubt this is the main cause, as it’s been like this...
  3. Leaking seal at MIC roof and windshield frame

I believe others have encountered similar issues… I’m sure some will say this is “to be expected with a hardtop convertible SUV…” but my wallet begs to differ. Wondering what others’ experience is getting Ford to fix this, and if their fix (assuming one exists) is effective. I have a service...
  4. 4H/Slippery on Highway

lol are we talking about driving Broncos? Trust me, he can catch you!
  5. NOOB with color question

HPR is a fun colour. I never find it too orange; mostly I think of it as "red with some more depth". It varies a fair bit depending on lighting, but I've never looked at it and thought "I wish I'd gotten something else." In my mind it's definitely not as "tacticool" as some of the other colours...
  6. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

IAG full length EZ-Steps, installed! Every fastener received a dab of antiseize, and I followed the example of @BroncoAZ and used stainless washers and rubber plumbing washers to stop the set screws digging into the rock rails. As usual, I'm making things more difficult for myself (for...
  7. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

The wheels aren't the issue (they're not in the way of anything here). The tricky part is the screw in the top of the rock rail, which is sort of halfway below the rocker panel, at the corner of the wheel arch. If you watch IAG's install video, it shows them screwing that one in at a bit of an...
  8. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

For me, these will stop the spray up the side of the door. I've got a set of steps coming - they'll deal with the flying rocks.
  9. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Installed IAG I-Line Mini Mud Flaps (https://iagoffroad.com/iag-i-line-2pc-rock-rail-side-mini-mud-flap-2021-ford-bronco/) in the end of the rock rails. Pretty straightforward. The hardest part of the install was getting the top screw to go in - there's no room for a screwdriver to go in...
  10. Secret compartments & features, w/ “doobie door pull”. Post yours!

Admittedly "secret" is a bit of a stretch in most of these cases. More like unintentional/not clearly advertised storage areas/features of the vehicle. Plus, I doubt anyone other than Bronco people are tracking this thread...
  11. Secret compartments & features, w/ “doobie door pull”. Post yours!

Ooh I like a bit of unsanctioned customization.
  12. Secret compartments & features, w/ “doobie door pull”. Post yours!

Oh that's useful! I've been feeding my Bronco mostly hay... not sure it's designed to run on so much fiber.
  13. Secret compartments & features, w/ “doobie door pull”. Post yours!

It stops at the perfect depth to hold securely, doesn't go in any deeper than shown in my photo.
  14. Secret compartments & features, w/ “doobie door pull”. Post yours!

Wondering if anyone else has found or uses these? Or are there any other secret "features" you've discovered? Hidden card holder - below the screen, just above the climate controls, there is a perfect slot to hide a key card or similar. I have a card that gets me into the garage at work and I...
  15. This is Luna, my new toy on 4" Lift on 37's ;)

Beautifully done! Looks great, not overcooked at all... really making me want to get mine wrapped in xpel stealth! Every now and then I just have to stop and appreciate what Ford did with this design. AND that they had the guts to offer it in a 2-door when 4-doors have more mass market appeal...
  16. "I like your Jeep!"

Plus, Ford actually made an actual Jeep alongside Willys for the US Army back in 1942. In that sense, the Bronco bears more of the original Jeep bloodline than Chysler's does!
  17. AR | MAGNUM STIRRUP® Full Length Billet Aluminum Side Step for OEM Rock Rail - Bronco6G Exclusive Part

You can see in the 2nd pic where individual pebble strikes have left holes in the coating. Note the damage is on forward-facing surfaces. While, yes there is oxidization of the aluminum, that likely occurred after it was exposed.
  18. IAG V2 Steps

That's an excellent idea! Did you glue the washers together or just let pressure hold the neoprene in place?
  19. IAG V2 Steps

I had this thought too. Haven't pulled the trigger on the steps yet. How did you arrange the washers to prevent the screw scratching through the powder coating?
