Thanks for this info as well! Yeah I dont know why it took VW 3 years to fix well documented and known engine issues and some other things that were plaguing the mk6 GTI. Probably why they had a class action lawsuit about it plus you know the whole dieselgate situation less than a decade later...
Thank you! That's the impression I've been getting for the most part, with a few people having some issues, but I feel like that's just how it is with cars. Just like with people, some have no issues, some have minimal issues, and some are in the hospital (shop) every other day. I know it...
For me it wouldn't be about being as green as possible, but trying to go further in between gas stops if this becomes my only vehicle. But with all the arm-chair engineers and mechanics (no offense cause some have actually given some great info) in these threads I just keep getting more...
Also I think they said that those were pics of the prototype/pre-production bronco. I mean I would hope that ford wouldn't give rubber floors and vinyl seats to easily wash out only to have the bed and back of the seats be carpet. Maybe those huge hinges or connection points will be smaller or...

Pretty sure they ended up finishing the trail, we only got to see tiny clips so I wouldn't go judging based on these alone. In the end there's going to be stuff a jeep does better and stuff a bronco does better and some they do equally well and equally poor. If you want to do the Rubicon trail...
Yup you nailed it and I haven't done this before so between the vagueness from ford and everyone on the forums my blood pressure is on a roller coaster right now.
Sorry no time to go through the whole thread, but I'm curious about this too, would be kinda hard to order something then a few weeks later actually see what I ordered.
