I can build out on a BD to make me happy at 39.7K. My BL build is 47.9k
That eight thousand difference makes it an easy choice for me. I can do a LOT with my 8K in savings.
My BD build is 8K+ less than my BL build. I'm going BD all day. There's not that much money worth of "need" for me to upgrade.
But I'll put 33's on it the day I get. Leaning to BF goodrich AO2's.
Would the Ranger tune not work for the Bronco with it being the same engine and all? Granted I'm essentially ignorant of all things horsepower and mechanical so this could well be a stupid question.
I've played mental gymnastics with myself over this for months.
Then by BD build was 39.5K and my BL build was 47.5K.
Was very easy to go with the BD at that point. I'm not doing any hard core off roading and although I'd like the mid package on my BD it's not a deal breaker as I HAVE to...
For usability and ability to perform various tasks the F-150 will much more serve your needs. In my opinion EVERYONE needs a truck.
I have an F250 and my Bronco will be in addition to it. If I could only have one I'd by far go with the truck as my choice. Less "cool" but FAR more utilitarian.
Love the look of the roof rails but I'm not likely to ever use them for intended purpose.
I'd like to add them but if they are going to be a pain with removing the hard top and placing a bimini top I'll forgo them.
Anyone that's laid hands on a pre production model seen how they'll interact...
I'm in North Georgia. Easter to Thanksgiving I will be doors off, roof off, bimini top. Funny fact, we average more rain here than y'all do in the Pacific NW.
Chattanooga is 51 inches yearly while Seattle is 38.
I've been BD since day 1. After seeing my build price I considered dropping down but the MGV seats and wash out interior is key for me so I'll stay BD.
True, but I don't need that capability. I should have worded it better. For ME that's the only two portions of the upgrade that would suit my personal preferences. And that's a LOT of coin just for that.
I'm in the same boat
My BD build is right at 40K. But I'd be much happier with a BL that's 47.5K. I shouldn't have to pay 7.5K just to get the mid package and 33 inch tires.
I'll probably just stay with the BD and slap some 33's on it the day I get it.
The issue with manual transmission and the Mid package is the remote start. I remain convinced that come time to place an order you and I will be able to get the Mid minus the remote start.
Well, I've used the same sales guy for 17 years and bought multiple vehicles and referred him 20-30 other customers over the years. I am an acquaintance of the owner of the dealership group as well. I asked for and received no hassle stuff after that first experience. Last purchase in...
