"The highest priority that a Dealer can use for a retail order is 10. An order with a “10” priority code will schedule ahead of an order with an “11” priority code, etc. This allows Dealers...
Accurate. All you can do is lock in an order now at a set price. If you choose to 'wait' a year to make an order, don't complain about the jump in price.
Don't agree with the 'day' part mattering much (I don't think they got 100k reservations in 48hrs much less get 100% of those converted to orders), but yeah I'd expect 35% of reservation conversions...far more than I'd believe 70%.
Where are you finding posted dealer results on order conversions, not just updating the dealer system, actual Ford messaging on conversion rates? I should add, I don't mean someones "Reservation page" on Fords site saying "ORDER, contact dealer" :)

A tune isn't going to add nearly enough torque to require a new clutch. You'll blow the turbos out on boost before you blow the clutch for torque on a OEM setup.
Bingo. Ford doesn't know a thing yet, much less some goof ball sales rep. Until they close the order book in March, they have zero idea of what might delay someone do to lack of engines.
