I use it almost any time I am driving off-road. Even if I donāt need max articulation, disconnecting the front stabar significantly improves the ride over rough terrain.
So i see four reasons for wanting it flush with the rear seats:
flat to move heavy gear in and out.
flat for car camping/sleeping. The 2-door is short, but iām still conceptualizing a chaise/lounge-type sleeping platform.
flat so large objects that donāt fit perfectly within the deck boundary...
2023 2-door Badlands, built 5/8/2023 Mostly garaged, in SF Bay Area California, no winters.
No cracks, but security camera on garage shows a few possible delamination spots that look like images in this post. But itās not really apparent when I look at it IRL. The Warranty ends in June and Iām...
Thanks! I did not see the message.
It worked for me, even tho I have an existing membership. I had OnX Premium membership that was set to expire June 2026. Now my membership is OnX Elite and set to renew March 2027.
you feel the rumble strip effect in the steering wheel, correct? The Lane-Keeping Alert system uses the electronic power steering system to create that effect. It rapidly oscillates the existing power steering motor to create that vibration. Other systems like Brakes are not affected/used.
I kinda dig it, if you just get a Base trim, and donāt lower it but just fill the wheel wells like you mentioned. The billet grille that hides the headlights like the first image reminds me of the first gen Mercury Cougar could look cool. The second image is less interesting. I would also try it...
That is certainly possible - just clip off whatever connector they have and connect the power input wire direct to an AUX switch power wire, and ground wire to a ground bolt along the fender or cowl.
We only have 6 AUX switches, but if you donāt have and donāt plan on adding a bunch of...
Not really. Itās only held on by Velcro, not by some special hard top feature. You could just as easily put Velcro tape on the rear crossbar of the roll cage (or maybe a crossbar of the soft top?).

That canāt carry a tune,

How easy is that?!?,

The Broncoās USB-C ports are not labeled as āPDā ports, so they likely only provide the standard 5V, supporting up to 3A max for 15W max. You need a PD 2.0 or PD 3.0 port capable of 15V at 3A to get the required 45W for that charger+fan
Thatās not the issue. The outlet is always active AFAIK (if the engine is running). But I did test your idea and connected an AC outlet splitter to the Bronco then connected a lamp (lights up fine) and then connected to my Jackery (no recognition of AC connection and no charging, but lamp is...
I tried both. The Kill-A-Watt meter will still report Voltage and Hz of the source even if no load is connected to it. Just Current and KWh will show 0 if there is no load. If I plug it into a house outlet with no load plugged into the meter, it will still show ~120 V and 59.9 Hz.
So whether a...
Is that what itās doing? I plugged a Kill-A-Watt meter into the outlet, which can tell me Voltage, Amp, Watt, Hz, and KWh and instead of reporting ~110V and 60Hz it canāt figure it out, then says itās DC power source.
Anyone put an oscilloscope on the outlet to get an image of the output?
I...
Yeah basically. Those lights are 50W each so you can connect both red wires together to a 10A aux switch power wire.

Subjectively, Iāve found it to be very effective. I make a lot of trips from SF Bay Area to Pasadena and back on I-5 to visit family and friends. That highway passes a lot of orchards and farmlands. One of my early trips without the deflector, from just Tracy to Coalinga rest area (halfway), my...
