Iāve driven a lot of test vehicles with big power cutoff switches like that. Never had to use one in an emergency, but it alwayes looks so damn tempting to punch it. š¤£
This was last spring in Moab.
I want to return soon, but no plans yet. Near-term Iāll be checking out the Frank Raines OHV Park east of Mt. Hamilton for some testing. :)
I got something similar to power my old RedTiger F7n dashcam. It powers on with ignition, but not constant power which suits me fine. I assume these all tap the same power source.

I did do a lot of sanding and scuffing and cleaning i think with citrus cleaner-degreaser before and after primer. That and masking twice took a ton of time.
The Rustoleum truck bed coating I used in the center made that part much easier to do. The slight texture eliminates any finish defect...
Very nicely done! I think that vintage style grille is the best looking one available but Iām biased. :)
I did the same thing to mine, essentially the same 2-step paint process. I think the carbon black center is a good match with all the other carbon black on the 6G. I did stick with BRONCO...
the peak was also closed when I was there in May. But the caves were open so did that tour and some hiking and some driving. Camped at upper Lehman creek.
HA! yeah. Looks like those photos on the quadratec website are actually from Smittybilt. The photos of this Bronco show up on several of Smittybilt product pages. I guess the Bronco is/was owned by someone connected to them or at least someone who let them use his Bronco for sales photos...
That same Bronco appears to be on this website https://www.quadratec.com/p/smittybilt/apollo-rear-bumper-21-bronco-78784
note the āAZTECā sticker on the tailgate below the Ford oval. You can just see it on the crash photo. Same tailgate reinforcement and bumper too.
āā¦where the quick-release rivets ar located, are all identicalā¦ā
Uh, I donāt think that is correct.
Compare the rounded base bronco front fender to the Everglades Bronco front fender. Itās subtle, but it looks different to me:
M2DZ-16006-A
M2DZ-16006-B
and i imagine the fitment would look...
Thatās a small red flag in that response. That doesnāt seem possible. I would expect an answer like:
āthese squared flares will fit Broncos with rounded fender arches (FirstEdition, Base, BigBend, OuterBanks, BlackDiamond, Badlands, Wildtrak)ā
or
āthese squared flares will fit Broncos with...
Iām considering that. I like the Badlands accent color, that it divides the pocket, and it doesnāt get in the way with my usual thermos. But if I try to put in something larger - like the 3ā OD Yeti thermos I got at the Bronco Rodeo or a roll of paper towels - I have to use my other hand to push...
I decided to stick with a pocket-type solution, but I didnāt want a hard metal or plastic. So I bought the iAG pockets which are made of a TPE which has some flexibility.
