I’ve driven a lot of test vehicles with big power cutoff switches like that. Never had to use one in an emergency, but it alwayes looks so damn tempting to punch it. 🤣

This was last spring in Moab. I want to return soon, but no plans yet. Near-term I’ll be checking out the Frank Raines OHV Park east of Mt. Hamilton for some testing. :)

I did do a lot of sanding and scuffing and cleaning i think with citrus cleaner-degreaser before and after primer. That and masking twice took a ton of time. The Rustoleum truck bed coating I used in the center made that part much easier to do. The slight texture eliminates any finish defect...

the peak was also closed when I was there in May. But the caves were open so did that tour and some hiking and some driving. Camped at upper Lehman creek.

and the hard top can come off which is cool. Just some quick mod to the inside to cut some plastic nibs.

I was out there last spring. Great place for stargazing. Also some off-road trails in the area.

If a Jeep does that to you, roll up your windows immediately, or they might try to throw a duck onto your dash. 🐥

HA! yeah. Looks like those photos on the quadratec website are actually from Smittybilt. The photos of this Bronco show up on several of Smittybilt product pages. I guess the Bronco is/was owned by someone connected to them or at least someone who let them use his Bronco for sales photos...

Here’s some pics from an afternoon drive heading North on CA-1 from San Francisco to Albion last Wednesday.

That same Bronco appears to be on this website https://www.quadratec.com/p/smittybilt/apollo-rear-bumper-21-bronco-78784 note the “AZTEC” sticker on the tailgate below the Ford oval. You can just see it on the crash photo. Same tailgate reinforcement and bumper too.
