Anyone use SandyCats products? They are US based but sell imported ropes and shackles. They state the products are certified. I have been trying to buy American but also realize that these product are not something I will be using regularly. Wonder if the $200+ I'd save would be better...

Guess the dealer never canceled my original order, 8/26 order scheduled week of 4/1. Meanwhile I am driving my Everglades I ordered 11/20 and picked up last week.

@Superthornbird That was my concern with down. Did you just loosen the fairlead and slip it behind?

Anyone install the factory metal front plate on their Everglades? Dealer didn't realize what it was and no directions. Looks to go behind the fairlead and assume it sits in front of the winch but I was thinking to install hanging down.

Got her home today and added shackles to attach the winch to(factory zip ties it to the mount). Ran out of daylight and was a bit cold, so didn't get my steps on.

I went in and my dealer gave me a purchase agreement that we both signed and he called my insurance to get the binder started. I was in and out pretty quickly(they did give the the add on speech). My insurance said I'd have their doc in an hour, took about 2. From start at dealer to check...

I wanted to take it for a few hours but they said no. It's still fresh off the truck in "transport mode" so the bells and whistles were disabled. I was kinda upset they couldn't get it through PDI today as I managed to get my loan check and all ready today.

Found it hiding behind the building. Was unlocked so we looked around, hadn't been touched since coming off the truck I didn't bug my salesperson as it was close to the end of the day.

I went to look, end of the VIN match. It still needs all the dealer prep and the hitch.
