My June 14th First Edition build is still showing "order processing" this morning without a build date. Why do I have a feeling I'm being kicked far back even though I reserved it right after the reveal and a dealer priority. :(
Edit:
Found out today I'm now scheduled for the week of 7/5
You’re confusing the 10R60 with the 10R80 in the Mustang. The 10R60 still has a lot of headroom with tuned Explorer STs putting down over 500 wheel horsepower with it.
My First Edition went from scheduled for 6/14 to order in processing.
So what I'm seeing here is builds from the first two weeks of June are getting bumped behind the second two weeks of June builds instead of just moving everyone back in order two weeks. Ford is really something else...
For some reason Ford decided to drill and mount the current Explorer and Aviator front license plate brackets prior to dealer delivery in states that require a front plate. Installing plugs or figuring out other ways to hide the holes comes up a lot in groups for those vehicles. Thankfully...
Explorers and Aviators delivered to states requiring front plates are drilled and installed prior to arriving at the dealer. I’m not sure why Ford does this for those particular models. Hence why I was worried after seeing this pic of the Bronco.
For anyone concerned about the OEM front license plate bracket it’s not installed prior to arriving at the dealer like the Explorer in states requiring a front plate. If you don’t want your Bronco drilled let the dealer know not to install it.
I don’t understand the obsession over gas mileage. If you’re buying a Bronco, especially the Sasquatch package, don’t expect great mileage. Plus we have no idea what kind of driving these Broncos have exactly been doing to achieve the mileage shown.
I’m concerned what kind of support Sync 4 will get long term with Ford’s switch to Google’s Android based infotainment vs the current BlackBerry QNX platform. It’s effectively a DOA system.
Wow this seems really petty on Fords part. Just ask for any Bronco Nation original content to be linked back to the source which would have been a reasonable request.
I didn't realize that. I wonder what the rationale is? I thought was trying to keep these "safety" features uniform across their lineup. I have it on my Explorer ST and it's easy to turn off if you don't want to use it.
This program has my dealer super paranoid about orders. I'm like if the V8 Gen 3 Raptor is available before my FE Bronco comes in, and I buy that from them instead, I would hope Ford would think that's a valid exception.
