  2. Jeep cancels all 4xe plug-in hybrid models

Will gladly trade my bronco in for a hybrid when they made one
  3. Is the stock water fording depth on a Bronco actually enough?

Top of tire seems like the rule of thumb
  4. Is the stock water fording depth on a Bronco actually enough?

Actually, no. But that's due to the roof
  5. Shock Recall questions

If the reservoir isn't attached, it would fail the inspection.
  6. Anyone try to make the rear seats recline further?

Posting here so I may remember to do this when it warms up
  7. Practical switching between 2H and 4H?

If you're going to try and accelerate with 500+HP on dirt, you had better be using all 4 wheels!
  8. Ford Performance C-Brace install with hardtop

I regularly use that space with some folding chairs that fit perfectly vertical there. Not that it matters for me because I don't have those mounting holes :/
  9. Practical switching between 2H and 4H?

I agree with everything here! In reference to your "other claims" comment, you earlier said "4/AWD will absolutely help lateral grip if you are under power" which I think we can just ignore since later discussions have covered enough of this. 👍
  10. Practical switching between 2H and 4H?

Not the case at all, I wish some others would join in because I feel like I'm going crazy here. Your max cornering ability is not affected by anything to do with throttle or brakes, it would be with a steady speed. So obviously 4wd is not important there. So make another scenario, an uphill...
  11. When to use 4A (AWD ?) vs. 4WD in snow?

ESC works by braking individual wheels. That can't* be properly implemented in 4wd or with locked axles. *Generalization, I'm sure someone can think of a system that works despite that somehow.
  12. Practical switching between 2H and 4H?

Your max lateral acceleration (turning) is achieved when your tires are doing zero propulsion. So 4wd will not be helping you achieve that
  13. Practical switching between 2H and 4H?

You are talking about multiple things at once. Yes 4wd will help you from spinning out from a stop by removing some demands from the rear wheels and putting them on the fronts. That will result in understeer when the limit is reached instead of oversteer. The fact remains that your max...
  14. Practical switching between 2H and 4H?

If you are sending power (or braking force) to the front, the front wheels will have less grip available laterally. This can be a good thing, because you will understeer instead of spinning out. Your max grip in a corner will be when not applying power or braking force, and so being in 4wd...
  15. Practical switching between 2H and 4H?

I'm worrying you're implying 4wd is helping your lateral grip
  16. Practical switching between 2H and 4H?

It's fine. But if you're switching so much, ask yourself if you actually need to go into 4wd in the first place...
  17. When to use 4A (AWD ?) vs. 4WD in snow?

So you're opting to put your head in the sand and ignore it? That's a valid strategy, but wouldn't you rather know? If someone identifies an issue...it's still your choice to fix it or not. But you'll pay for that diagnosis.
  18. Why 4A is your Ford's friend

IF those clutches ever slip, it may save other drive line components
