How cold is your cold? Living in Illinois, every vehicle I have owned sometimes makes strange noises when its below 0 or so. Usually goes away in a few minutes after is warms up. If it makes noise on a warm day, I would look into it.

Absolutely. Thats a current vehicle, they should be able to match the tires. Tread pattern looks different also. It wont hurt anything but it looks wrong. Go to the Bridgestone website and see if you can match it. Take it back and ask them to check it out.
